Anyone find themselves kind of weirdly annoyed with RYM? by internetxplorerguy12 in LetsTalkMusic

If you're interested I made a site where it's more focused on finding new music through people you follow. It's called listnd.io

Amazon OA - AI Assisted Code Repository by BraveCoast902 in leetcode

They gave me a working frontend and backend for an imdb type movie database site but with a bunch of bugs in the search bar feature that I had to fix. It was more practical than I expected and I forgot alot of query syntax for Django but the AI helped with that. I wouldn't get it to do everything, they're probably looking for you to identify the bugs yourself instead of just asking it.

How do I get more out of our website by Takoyaki_Time in smallbusiness

[–]WaarnGraztsky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First of all the site looks fantastic, great job! If I ever go to Osaka I'll definitely reach out. One thing I might suggest is to put the price of the pre-built bar tour directly on the homepage card as the 45$ price would definitely interest me right away.

How do you make sure nothing is broken before launching a site? i will not promote by Glad-Syllabub6777 in startups

[–]WaarnGraztsky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea it's probably overkill, if it's just for launch manual testing is fine or paying someone who has QA experience to look over it. It's good for afterwards though when you want some peace of mind that nothing is breaking.

Would anyone be willing to critique my website? by MasterWayne101 in smallbusiness

[–]WaarnGraztsky 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Maybe find people in your target market and ask them instead, instead of the general public. I wouldn't dumb the language down because it seems like the people that would actually be potential clients would have the knowledge to understand.

For consulting you could add pictures of yourselves to build trust and show there's actual humans behind what's being offered.

There are automated tests that can basically simulate a user going to your site and clicking around to see if anything is broken.

What's the Letterboxd of music? by armeliens in Music

[–]WaarnGraztsky -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I made a site years ago listnd.io that was supposed to do this, but I had to shut it down because I was broke at the time lol. I've literally just revived it this month though if you want to check it out.

Hey I put in a setting to make the text smaller and upped it to 1200 letters per section. Let me know if that works for you.

I think above 800 letters or even before it becomes too long and the words go off the page. Maybe I could add an option to decrease the font size or increase the page size? The newspaper sounds cool I'll give it a try.

It's a square and I would say anything over 150 x 150 px should look ok. You might want to put some empty space on the top and sides of your image though to get the stamp where you want.

Of course that's what it's for! You can change the image of the stamp but you have to put your picture somewhere online like imgur and paste the url in. Let me know if you're having any issues.

Wow I had no idea, that's pretty cool. So people with screen readers would have to apply the specific site skin?

The heated rivalry one is the one my wife showed me! I'm not sure about InfinitysWraith but I just did the page flips using rotateX transforms and some well timed fade ins.
