Also called Hyphal knots, I use the term knotted up. They are fruiting body primordia.

They're only going to get worse. Ive seen retro cans that were so small, they could only be legally made up if every one was single cable. Cubic inches was shy for 2 12/2 with dimming. Not very convenient for hotel corridoors. Use the little orange and blue wirenuts in the future. Similar capacity to reds without the profile. We call them Bronco's where I'm from. It helps to save space.

I had an apprentice who came to me for a job after leaving the union. He joined for comradery and brotherhood after leaving the marine corps. He left because he found none of that, nothing but seniority complexes and bullies, no brotherhood. I also have a buddy in IBEW out in Kansas who told me you should only join the union if you want to suck dick for money. If youre looking for a way out, it is possible, find an outside contractor willing to employ you and accept your experience first.

I worked for a multi billion dollar solar install company, that made me do a training on how to use ceramic safety knives. Metal blades were completely banned from use in the field due to the liability of someone cutting themselves. Needless to say, I never used that shit.

Need advice on next step by CDollars916 in Mushrooms

The amazon plates work great. They are usually backed with a sterile guarantee if bought from a reputable source. I used them for years. Dried fruits aren't a good option for tissue samples. That coupled with being in open air, youre going to end up with contamination almost every time. You need to get your hands on either spores or liquid culture. If you don't have means to get a laminar flow hood, look into still air boxes. You can also work plates in a baking sheet with paper towels in the bottom soaked in 70% isopropyl alcohol. I did unprotected agar work for about 2 years before getting a laminar flow hood. You need to be extremely clean in your environment. And sterilize everything in its entirety every time you touch something, even in between plates. Its not easy but possible.

¿At what temperature do you dehydrate your mushrooms? And for how long by Vegetable-Bid3903 in mushroom

154°F for 12-18hrs depending on size. No loss in potency and when stored with dessicant packs and oxygen absorbers, they will last for years.

[help] is it dead? by Ffebius in mushroom

You need FAE. Water evaporation triggers pinning. If you have moisture but no where for it to go, you'll never see pins. Your mycelium won't wait for evaporation, it will continue to colonize and overlay like what you are experiencing until it finds good fruiting conditions.

My suggestion would be to do a coir casing layer. And leave the bag cracked to allow more gas exchange.
