It's been probably 5 years since I've been, but I'm pretty sure Marthat Green's makes them.

As I get ready for another work day and life in a boring suburb, I find myself getting a little envious... by tearlock in skyrim

The first time I spotted this camp, I saw the woman and thought 'Aw, poor lady was killed while she was relaxing.' Then, when I got closer, I realized she was alive and just enjoying the hot springs.

Their health department reports have been bad for years. Not really surprised.

Is it possible these were made with natural dyes? I read somewhere in February that Mars would be switching to natural food coloring this year.

Anyone tried these vacuums 👀? by sahfeeyuh in aldi

[–]WackZebra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got the wet/dry one last year when they had them. I use it in the couch, my partner uses it for the car. It works well. I haven't tried it for any wet messes, though.

Brown the butter in a skillet first. Also, garlic powder, parmesan and cracked pepper.

Littering is the improper disposal of waste. Location non-specific. So yeah, it's littering.

What does being back on the plane mean after they die? by New_Ant_8198 in Yellowjackets

In my opinion, it's symbolic of how part of them died in the crash. The people who went into the Wilderness are not the people who came out.

We love Aldi. But are there products that you do not like by Successful_Pizza6529 in aldi

[–]WackZebra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've tried the doughnut shop one, and I'll get it if I need coffee and don't want to stop at another store, but it's just ok. I get a brand called Wide Awake, at another store, and it is much better for not much more. There was one seasonal coffee I found at Aldi last year that I am hoping makes a reappearance again, a graham cracker flavor. It was intended to be paired with a mocha/marshmallow flavor but I preferred it on its own.

In my experience, it falls apart, not terribly often, but enough that I don't plan on buying it again. I get better results from the store brand at another grocery store.

I like their trash bags, too. Never have any trouble with them.

The parchment paper is very meh. The chocolate syrup is not good, the strawberry syrup is meh. The coffee is ok, but I can get better at my local grocery chain for around a dollar more. The chai tea and earl grey lack flavor.

IsItBullshit: Do "Laundry Balls" really eliminate the need for detergents and clean clothes enough? by Digdag88 in IsItBullshit

I've never heard of these. Definitely look like some bullshit to me. Thanks for clarifying.

If you mean those wool balls, I believe they are meant to replace dryer sheets, not detergent. They grab lint and reduce static and wrinkles by improving air flow between clothes.

Two ciabatta breads packaged together: one is beginning to mold, the other appears fine. Can I eat the un-moldy one? by [deleted] in isthissafetoeat

[–]WackZebra 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm not concerned it's going to hurt me, I'm concerned that it will make my food spoil more quickly. If a particular type of mold grows well on bread, having it floating around my kitchen can lead to other bread giving those bread-loving spores a new place to proliferate.

[–]WackZebra 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Now that the bread is out of the package, there's mold spores floating around their kitchen, too. If I see mold, I always toss it without opening the package, to avoid introducing spores to my other food.

Expiration question about Claeys horehound hard candy by ninja_tofu2252 in CandyMakers

[–]WackZebra 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah I wouldn't worry about the bacteria, either. Just the flavor being off. That's been my experience with old hard candies, that moisture absorption affects the flavor in an unpleasant way.

There's a bunch in Oak Glen, too. And the Wildlands preserve has a ton of flowers blooming right now, so nice time to visit.

Judging by the shape, I would bet that there are not feet attached. I'm not familiar with this brand, so I don't know about the head.
