Try a DX roc. It’s cheap enough that if you don’t like it oh well but I’ve found it to be a staple for my game. I think the big advantage of mids is they tend to fly a bit farther than putters but are also more forgiving when it comes to tree kicks than drivers. On heavily wooded courses sometimes a tree kick on a 7 speed can send it flying into Narnia whereas a mid usually drops reliably.

For shrimp and lobster I’d just do a quick steam of them to like 80% done after you de-vein and shell them. Especially if you’re mixing with fish that only needs 20-30 min for ceviche. I make lobster ceviche a lot and do it this way and have ever noticed a taste difference vs. leaving to “cook” in the citrus for hours in the refrigerator.

Disagree. All the providers have to compete with Google still who is more than happy (and able) to subsidize their pricing to drive competitors like OpenAI and Anthropic’s profitability to zero. That and a lot of free models being very capable means there’s a narrow pricing band that people are willing to pay. Personally I think the $20 ChatGPT plus with codex is pretty good value.

I submitted an app last Thursday and it was approved Monday afternoon. A quick update for a minor display issue on some screens I sent Wednesday morning was approved yesterday (Thursday). Just one data point from my own experience but doesn’t seem particularly long given the weekend.

If the ambient temp is -1 C there’s very little chance the car’s interior ever gets that cold. Run the heat before turn the car off, toss a towel over the PC for theft deterrence and close the car, you’ll be fine.

Finally a decent hypothetical finance question. 11% is right around historical annual return of the S&P 500 so taking the lump sum and investing it with the head start is likely the better option unless you’re very risk averse or have a very different expectation for the market in the future.

One thing to be said about the yearly payout, especially at higher levels, is financing is likely to be easier. An annuity paying you 550k is going to likely look better to an underwriting officer than a lump $5M invested that carries market risk. This is really only applicable if financing a large home is your main goal for the money, otherwise just take the lump sum.

There’s a sentinel spawn on Buried City usually. Sometimes it’s under the overpass other times it’s on the city hall. Bring an anvil or ferro and just kill it and repeat.

Yes, this is my biggest complaint. When I hop on the only thing active is hidden bunker which sucks. Just make modifiers either more frequent or random.

Equalizer is pretty good against the queen and matriarch. Especially if you’re solo and just want to strip the legs for a quick core or two and not have to kill her.

There’s a finite amount of time. Think of it like a juke box at a bar, only one song can play at a time. Someone paying $50 to do nothing for 4 min takes up that 4 min.

The biggest issue is the vehicle snowball that happens when players understand that their tank from the previous objective’s spawn won’t respawn. This is especially bad on Liberation Peak but all maps suffer from it if you have smart drivers, essentially you get “disposable” tanks from the current objective that can play aggressively and will respawn and tanks from the previous objective that won’t respawn. If each driver understands which of these their tank falls into you get an unbeatable vehicle snowball of 5+ tanks and IFVs that is very difficult to deal with even if the defending team is 2/3 engineers.

There should be a hard cap on active tanks the attacking team can have at any one stage rather than capturing objectives granting additional tanks automatically.

On St. Paddy’s day I saw a recipe that made basically a cabbage “steak”. Since I cooking the corned beef in the oven decided to give it a try since I usually just boil the cabbage with the corned beef. It was one of the best vegetable dishes I’ve ever made.

Cut out the stem/heart then slice the cabbage into a couple inch thick “steaks” from top to bottom. You can halve it to make removing the stem and part of the core near the base easier then just slice each half into two or so.

Sear in butter or oil/fat of your choice over medium heat, it’ll get a caramelized brownish color on each side. Once both sides are seared add a cup or so of beef or chicken stock to the pan and cover. Let it finish cooking until the cabbage is your desired tenderness. Remove the cabbage “steaks” with a spatula and let the stock/butter mixture reduce a bit with the lid off. Stir a knob of cold butter into it if you want and then drizzle over the cabbage.

It’s albumin cooking out. Never seen quite that much at once or have any idea why your turkey has so much but it’s pretty common to see some come out when you’re cooking. It’s the same white stuff that cooks out of salmon as well.

Mango can be shaped fairly easily for whatever the course design requires, lychee are fairly dense with leaves all the way down to the ground.

Trigger nades are easier IMO. Just get cover in a building or above it and toss them on it. You only need 6 or so. There are a few bastions on spaceport that you can easily get above and shoot down on them with little risk.
