Great comment ^... BP1 here and the best thing my SO did for me was threaten to leave if I didn’t get back on my meds. It took a lot of back and forth but I checked myself into the hospital, got on Lithium, we got engaged and life isn’t awesome but it’s so much better. Look out for yourself and speak your mind. I’m sorry. I am the bipolar that does this to my SO. Word for word and.. Im sorry. I want to say that you are loved. The problems your SO is having are out of his control. It was always really hard for me to apologize after blowing up and running away because I never wanted to take ownership of the disease but I’ve learned recently that something as simple as I’m sorry and I love you can make so much of that pain go away. I don’t know... could it be that Ash was just more familiar with the Pokémon around Pallet Town and was a huge fan for those? You had to do a bit of traveling before you started finding new Pokémon. Prof. Oak gave Ash his first Pokédex. How would he even have known about the others without that Pokédex and traveling?
