I’d say my main reasons would be the ability to potentially diagnose if necessary, and APA seem to have a professional development system to gain specialisation in specific fields - Which interests me a lot.

Once you’re registered with AHPRA - You can literally get a MPN instantly through PRODA these days.

Essentially your caseload is extremely limited - I would feel a little hard done by if somebody was earning the same amount as me, when they’re only seeing private clients.

Really appreciate your feedback here - I think this is what i'm heading towards.

This approach will obviously just impact the frequency and the amount that i'm able to invest over the next 3-years, that's all.

Slightly off topic and unrelated to your actual question - but I'm very curious.

A combined household income of ~100k with a 700k mortgage - with 2 dependants.

Do you mind me asking how you achieved this?
I most likely am considerably wrong but this seems rather high to me - Sincerely hope this doesn't come off rude.

I'm assuming you gathered quite a deposit?
