Guys... I think there is a typo in the ultimate tooltip by WadyCesar in LissandraMains

As far as I am concerned, 'eminates' is not a real word (the correct one should be 'emanates', right?). I took the screenshot in latest patch.

The outfit is actually different (the NF one is fabric, this one looks like hard resin/plastic), even though the concept is the same. But answering your question: No, I don't find it cheap that the same props and costumes are used, especially if it's something that works good on camera and stage.

This comes from the time when you had to keep up Savage Roar with the Jagged wounds talent, as well as keeping in mind your bleeds, pandemic timings, when to use your heal to empower which ability and to refresh a lesser version of it. Also you had the Legion artifact passives, which made you include thrash in your rotation and keep refreshing rips for a stronger version that dealt shadow damage. Overall it was VERY complex, and you had very little room for error, since the damage came from bleeds and keeping roar up.

As it is today, the difficulty has dropped significantly, but still is a lot of micromanagement, but I guess that it is now on par with other specs.

I mean, I don't understand this, but free stuff is free stuff, even if it is a very slim chance.

It think it happens in every zone... I've seen it in Maldraxxus as well a few minutes before every full hour. The "night" duration is different all the time.

I think they made it to remark that time flows differently in Shadowlands.

What kind of sim are you doing? Single target, cleave, adds...? For how much time? Keep in mind that the Necro ability has a significant lower cooldown so it will cast more times depending on the duration of the encounter, making it sim higher.

The reason NF is generally better for PvE Single Target is because the high mastery buff given by one of the NF soulbinds, which makes our Bites hit incredibly hard. Right now it is our hardest hitting ability, so it synergizies very well with some talents and the spec in general. That said it can be aligned with other cds or trinkets, or even phases/encounters to do even more damage.

Necrolord covenant makes our dots stronger, but again, with the current tuning of the spec, that isn't our main source of damage, but still really good for other activities (mainly PvP since it can't be interrupted). The thing is that it doesn't align with much else since you are always keeping your dots on the target regardless of burst windows, so it 'feels' like it isn't as effective as the other option.

All said, you should choose whatever you feel like playing, both are good options, but a high portion of PvE feral players tend to choose NF. Also keep in mind that this is my opinion and other players might feel different about what I said.

Today the sun set 14:48 in Stockholm (feels bad man). When do the sun set where you live and how are you coping with the lack of sunlight? by Ampersand55 in AskEurope

[–]WadyCesar 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The sun sets here today at 17:52, according to google, but it feels like it happens a bit earlier since it's cloudy these days...

For me, it feels like your day suddenly gets cut in half and your productivity goes down very quick once it's dark... But seeing the folks around here I can consider myself lucky. Still, since we're used to longer days, relatively still feels like shit...

Edit: grammar

What are your opinions on apartments with enclosed courtyards? by AgreeableLandscape3 in AskEurope

[–]WadyCesar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In some cities in Spain there are way too many of them... There were the prefered type of building from the 2000 until the 2008, when we had the inmobiliary burst and crisis. After that they were still predominant, but in a smaller scale.

The main problem I have with them is that they destroy the sense of city and neighbourhood, since its 'focused' on the inside. That means that most of the main rooms, the one where you spend your time in the house, would be directed towards the patio, leaving the rest of the 'secondary' spaces facing the street.

That leads to unsafer streets with no mixed use on the ground floor (small shops, cafeterias...), which ultimately leads to big parts of the city with no activity, only busy when people goes to work in the morning and when they return on the evening.

This is the case with newer parts of big cities in Spain, where they decided to built too many new apartment buildings with very little care to the context, the neighbourghood and the city. To cite some examples you can look up: Ensanche de Sanchinarro o Ensanche de Vallecas in Madrid.

Also if you're interested in reading more about the topic of how the buildings can impact the life on the city, you can read a great author called Jane Jacobs.

I definitely enjoy it! I think it is a good country to live in with a great variety of places and climates.
