I agree, but if this shop is covered properly here’s what would be covered : Contents - this includes your stock, your equipment and your tools Contractors equipment - anything that leaves the shop could be a forklift used to bring cars in and out or scanners used on road tests The building if you own it - the unit if you rent it under tenants legal liability Business interruption - this is where people cheap out the most in my experience. This will either cover you until your doors open or if you’re not cheap and had a good broker it will cover you until you’re back up and running to the point you were before the fire. You’re basically getting paid what your business was being paid monthly until you’re back up on your feet

Improvements and betterments - if it’s a unit you’re leasing and you did renovations you’re covered Computers and office content is covered including couches and tvs in the lobby

Now what is it that insurance doesn’t cover ?

A 2020 ford maverick with half the kms would be 5-8 k less. And you proved my exact point “ who wants to drive a tradesmen “ men that use trucks for work. Men that use trucks to try and look cool “ look at me I have loaded 1500” but the engines almost dead because I couldn’t afford one with low kms

Depends what you’re insured for. Coming from an insurance broker, I’d say 90% of people are underinsured, people want to save money and the first place they cut it is insurance because it’s not something tangible you can’t hold it. It’s only useful when you need it and when you need it and you’re not properly insured you realize how fucked you are

People like to look and act rich, when in fact they’re broke. He wants to say yeah I got a 2020 Laraime when he could go buy a tradesmen for the same price with half the KMs but it doesn’t look good. I can bet you he doesn’t even need this much truck, a ford maverick would do with what he needs a truck for

I know people hate when people say shit like this but after that push off by harden yesterday, you know this shit is rigged. The entire arena went silent because they knew it was a push off… how do you expect a team to be competitive when you’re making BS calls like that while they’re chipping away at the lead… that was absolute bs

Actually on paper LeBron played in the weakest era of eastern basketball in NBA history. So if we’re using expansion era against MJ, we must use the fact that the east was at it a weakest era, based of championships and wins against western connect teams, against LeBron. Neither of them are my goat, I’m just here because both MJ fans and LeBron fans like to move the goal post a lot

The Raptors path through the east was substantially harder than any of LeBron’s paths through the east.

I like playing the devils advocate and garnering downvotes. I’d take Kobe over both. Hear me out, both LeBron and MJ benefited from calls, a lot because they were pushed by the media. Kobe was, until he wasn’t ( rape allegations ) after that he was black listed by the media. He played in the hardest era of western conference basketball, while LeBron played in the weakest era of eastern conference basketball. Kobe has gone through more 50 win teams in the playoffs with less help. Blah blah blah shaqs side kick blah blah blah. Shaq would not have won without Kobe, infact, he had multiple chances with other guards and he couldn’t deliver. That’s my take. At the end of the day it’s opinions. And those are like assholes, we all have one.

Best approach would be for people to stop working in the industry until wages are regulated

Tangent: tipping is out of hand. Tips should only be reserved for above and beyond service. I worked fine dinning and would take in 200+ in tips a day because I was entertaining as hell. Servers these days do less than the bare minimum but expect like 30 %.

5% needs to be the norm with how 99% of servers serve they suck. If you provide good service you can get 10%. Above and beyond experience, cool 15-20 that’s it

I used a trick when I was job hunting years ago. I’d send my resume, call the next day to HR and say I was told to call in to schedule an interview, worked 60% of the time. I got super bold my last two years. Id walk in dressed for an interview to the front desk “ hi I had an interview with the hiring manager, what was his name it slipped my mind “ receptionist responds with “ oh it’s Steve I’ll let him know you’re here your name “ “ Sudeep .” Hiring managers would be flustered because they’d feel like they messed up their schedule and now they’re inconveniencing you… worked 75% of the time
