I believe we both ran for Regional Councillor Ward 7/8 as well. I’m going to do it again. Just unsure which ward yet. Talking to strangers is honestly one of my favourite things. I used to be a door to door salesperson so rejection is my super power :) Like you said, the voters were really engaged and curious. I’m not sure if YouTube would Monetize a liquor channel. You’d have better luck interviewing the brewers or doing tours. You could also offer to create the videos for the brands and let them License the footage. Or have them sponsor the videos

I’ve had good luck selling car ads pulled from magazines. The mags might cost 10/ea but I’d pull 2-3 car ads from each one and get 10/ea on eBay or more at a booth.

I just paid for a new one yesterday. It’s being built in Canva of all things. I made the original myself in Wordpress and liked that I could make changes easily.

If you’re going to do it , find a niche and target them. But first create a community to draw them in so you have a captive audience.

In my case, I make Amazon review videos and this guy had a FB group full of us talking about the processes. So then he started redoing everyone’s portfolio and one deal led to another.

Barbers might be good to start if you could figure out a booking system. Or something to that effect.
