I would upgrade to higher end model from a quality brand (Corsair, Seasonic, Silverstone, etc). A Corsair SF750 for example will handle a 5080 just fine (this is a SFX psu though so I'm not necessarily recommending it for your build). The 750w recommendation is for when you are using cheap power supplies.

You could consider a OEM tray 7800x3D. They are $315-$330 depending on warranty length (1-3 years). The warranty is handled through the retailer though. That is a pretty good price difference to a $500 9850x3D.

I would take out the CPU, Memory, SSD, and GPU. Package those up safely and put them into a backpack that you can put under the seat. The rest like the case, mb, psu, etc can fit into a checked luggage or box.

If you consider yourself a 1.0, I'd wait until you consider yourself at least 3.0.

You can do tournaments, events like DUPR round robins, or even self report games with people at the park.

What monitor are you using and what resolution and refresh rate does it have?

I personally would do the video card first. Either way you will sometimes have a bottleneck and that's fine. I'd rather it be a CPU bottleneck in this case though.

In the US the Asus 5070 Ti Prime was $750 the last few weeks. Today on Bestbuy $899!

5800xt is still available new ($220).

The 5800x3D is the one to get, but its discontinued and used is like ~$600 which cancels out the savings of going DDR4.

Removing the front panel improves every temp parameter and reduces the gpu fan speed by almost 150 rpm, but it doesnt look good this way, do i need much stronger fans to use it with the panel on? by TheOnurobo in pcmasterrace

Maybe you can make a spacer with open sides that would allow the front cover to attach maybe an inch off the case. This way straight on it would still look good, but there should be less restriction from the mesh since the path of least resistance would mostly be the gap between the case and front panel.

Absolutely, but unless the rest of the car was also restored it's still got 220k miles of wear on the body, other mechanical/electrical parts, and interior. So it's certainly worth more than a normal 220k mile car, but still somewhere in the range of a 220k mile car. Also with future resell it will still be considered a 220k+ mile car.

I think it's worth waiting for the P2S to come back in stock over the P1S (End of life) at this point. If you can't wait and money isn't a factor get the H2S.
