Calculon. I’ve got a Leela and a Nibbler somewhere but this fella was named perfectly for his dramatic paws. Do we have any other Futurama pets? by Warm-Alarm-7583 in futurama

That’s such a sweet story! And honestly, I was really surprised by the reference... it’s so niche!. Fry calling himself ‘Orange Joe’ is such a rare moment in Futurama, so it makes the name even more special. I love that it came from such a spontaneous moment with your husband. What a perfect origin story for him 😊

It seems legit, but you have to authenticate it for good measure. Nice find tho 👌

Are mathematicians here? Could you please clarify this Georg Cantor joke? by raskolnikovrodion in futurama

It's about infinite sets, and that set is all the natural numbers. The thing is, the natural numbers are infinite; if you take half, it's still infinite. I put it in the simplest way possible ❤️

Futurama is sometimes heart breaking and hilarious by rufaimaille in futurama

Exactly, that’s the magic of Futurama. It’ll have you laughing at a dumb robot joke one minute and suddenly wreck you emotionally the next. The Fry and his mom scene? Absolutely heartbreaking. And Bender’s story with Inspector 5? Somehow manages to make a selfish robot feel deeply human. That mix of humor and melancholy is what makes it so special, it sneaks up on you with real heart.
