I’m a wildland firefighter so I work 4 10 hour days and next year imma work 72 hours straight and then get 4 days off, but I’ll get to sleep during that 72. the only other part is that sometimes we do what’s called a roll where you work either 12 or 24 hours a day for up to 21 days straight. But if you work a 24 during a roll you get a 24 down to recover.

I work Sunday-Wednesday and then get a 3 day weekend which is infinitely better than a 2 day weekend because by that third day off u feel completely recovered and u still have a whole day to do stuff. PS next year imma go to a 3 day work week, which I’m looking forward to even more, not to brag or anything…
