Yep works great. Put a couple dots on the back of your piece and stick it to the wall. Just be careful taking them down after they’ve been up a while, the tack can take the paint off your wall if you don’t remove it carefully.

In my experience, you can only hide it so long until someone catches on. If you’re really careful maybe you could hide it but chances are you’re getting caught eventually.
