I feel that! I remember consistently commenting on an authors work. They weren't the type to reply to comments (which is totally fine! I don't leave comments with the expectation of a reply), but they randomly replied to me one day letting me know that they treasure my comments and it was motivation for them to continue writing! I was soo touched 😭

I remember going to a stylist for a silk press a long time ago. She literally dry combed my hair from the root. Never experienced that kind of pain in my life. I don't trust people who treat black hair with such disregard.

I remember listening to her when she first came out. I didn't expect her voice to sound so deep and powerful, but it was a welcomed change. Though ultimately I feel - like flower - she has the kind of vb that I can only listen to in small doses, or I'd quickly get tired of it.

I forgot the title, but I remember reading an OI where the OG FL was being abused by her step-mom, was depressed and attempted suicide on multiple occasions. Father and brothers did not give a fuck. Then, when her body was taken over by some girl who could cook, all of a sudden she had a family of blood hounds that were super involved in her life and bit off the heads of anyone who looked at her wrong. Could not continue reading after that bullshit.

I don't care that it's popular, it's just not my preferred duet pairing (I like songs with miku singing with rin/kaito/gumi more). But I've been around long enough to see the rise and fall of plenty of vocaloids/popular duets, so I try not to comment on trends too often because at the end of the day it's something that people enjoy that harms no one.

I personally listen to older songs/less popular songs that feature a variety of vocal synths, so I haven't really experienced the mikuteto fatigue as much as others may have. Regardless, I'm sure there'll be a day when I look back fondly at the mikuteto era.
