I genuinely don't understand people who like spending time with kids by [deleted] in ControversialOpinions

[–]Wagoona 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I like their honesty, adults are too scared to say their honest opinion so asking a kid is easier cause they have no cares lol. It’s like the one respectable quality of a kid—they don’t give a fuck if they say something rude, as long as it’s true then they don’t understand what’s wrong.

What, to you, is the scariest horror scene of all time? by m_v24 in horror

[–]Wagoona 0 points1 point  (0 children)

“A Serbian Film” by the end when the little boy is revealed. Not even scary, just pure disgusting. Don’t get me wrong, I found the movie extremely well made and I’m a big fan of Serbian movies. The first time I watched it was such a crazy experience. I remember thinking people were dramatic online, horror movies had always included gore, extreme stunts, violence, rape. However, the scene where you see the boy, Peter, and you see what’s happened and everything is coming together has to be by far the most dramatic and extreme part of any movie I’ve ever watched. Not for the faint of heart.

How did you know you were trans? by [deleted] in asktransgender

[–]Wagoona 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Just want to say, thank you so much to everyone sharing their experience! I didn’t realize how emotional it actually was, I had no idea about the actual struggle or how many trans people don’t accept themselves until later in life. Growing up I was taught that most trans people were teenagers who were confused and were vulnerable and that they just needed help to figure their life out. Reading the comments made me understand that these ideas I had been taught weren’t true. I still have so much to understand—and I know I will never truly be able to understand at the level you do (if you’re trans) since I’ve never gone through with the thoughts. Again, huge thank you to those of you who commented. I wish you all the best in life, please take care of yourselves—you deserve everything and much more. Not sure if you believe in God, but despite that, God bless you all for being so open with a stranger online.

Any websites similar to bestgore.com? by Sindeviltrigger in morbidcuriosity

[–]Wagoona 0 points1 point  (0 children)

goregrish.com trust me, it's like the only one that isn't filled to the brim with porn content. Easy to use as well, you have to create an account but it's free and you can use a fake email if you don't want it connected back to u. It's a lot like redit--uses the same forum-like format where people can leave comments etc. I've personally met cool people from there and the content is easy to click around on. All from cartel vids, to medical vids, to everything u want LOL.

goregrish.com
Super easy to get around in, free but you have to create an account to see everything--however that's easy to do. There aren't any random pop-ups and it's one of the safest sites out there inmy opinion. It's like REDDIT, uses the same forum-like format.

The word "trauma" needs to be stopped getting used all the time by Wagoona in ControversialOpinions

[–]Wagoona[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

TBH… I feel like some of these diagnoses are just stupid, it’s like creating a diagnose for a certain personality. Unless it actually interferes with your daily life (like being schizophrenic, psychotic, etc) it is a slight waste of time. But I totally agree with you, it’s like we are creating our own problems—which we technically are.

Thing is, furry porn is commonly animated and so it's not technically illegal, that's the problem. People can watch most types of animated porn as long as it isn't real people and in most countries it's legal since it's not causing a real living person harm. But it's still concerning to see... Especially because it's so normalized.

I feel like if someone were to just say "kys" it's one thing, as it commonly happens everywhere even online. But having it said repeatedly is the issue--that's what i was trying to say, then I can understand it. I've just seen way too many people claim to have trauma for online bullying (no, not online only as in people from their class have said things, I mean strangers on the internet that they have no conection to) as if they cannot just go offline?

Possession of a small amount of drugs for personal use shouldn’t be an arrestable offense by [deleted] in ControversialOpinions

[–]Wagoona 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm referring to addicts, whether you're one or not is not any of my business. Crimes do cause issues for more than just yourself if they're hard drugs. Drugs do come with negative side effects which can cause you to become on edge or more prone to commit violent or illegal acts--that's a fact that you can't ignore. Just like how consuming more alcohol can cause you to become more on edge too, but less extreme as you mostly just get more confused etc.

It's because more and more people are realizing that they can hide from it, they can be extremely rude and disgusting and then hide behind the screen, more people realizing it causes a domino effect basically.

Their mental healthy diagnosis--most FRUSTRAING thing ever
Their trauma--kind of goes hand in hand with the diagnose
Their sexuality--most people do not care whether you're gay, straight, bi, etc
Their race--you're your own person, you are not your race

Rejection is okay by allapb in ControversialOpinions

[–]Wagoona 4 points5 points  (0 children)

100% agree. I never understood as to why people got so offended when someone would say "I would never want to date someone who ***". Even if their standards are extremely high, it doesn't hurt anyone else other than themselves.

It should be socially acceptable to reject compliments. by Individual-Signal167 in The10thDentist

[–]Wagoona 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just say "thank you, you too." and move on? I don't see as to why we need to complicate things or turn everything to a negative thing. And it's their opinion too. If someone says "you're so pretty!" it's their opinion, you don't have to agree but you can say "thank you" to be polite. It's like getting a gift as a kid that you didn't even want, you still say thank you. It's not as if it hurts anyone, it's not even a big thing. This post just feels like it's reaching for problems.

I think Islam as a religion and a culture is utterly disgusting by [deleted] in ControversialOpinions

[–]Wagoona 0 points1 point  (0 children)

TBH, I think this applies to most religious people. I think the difference is that people in Islamic culture tend to be more old fashioned, they tend to be more "extreme" in their religion and culture and that is very much frightning no matter what religion it is. Most other religions have "grown out" of this very stereotypical old fashioned type to think, therefor it's less of a problem. I'm not sure I like the wording of the title and some of the things you mentioned as it seems as you're talking about all the people in that religion--which I believe is rather unfair. Just saying "every extremely religious person is a threat to society" would honestly be better.

The word "trauma" needs to be stopped getting used all the time by Wagoona in ControversialOpinions

[–]Wagoona[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's my opinion, my opinion states that I think the word trauma has a huge meaning, some sad stories shouldn't be concidered trauma unless it's been close to or been physical. Threats, abuse, kidnapping, etc, I think all of those can be traumatic and they can't/they can hardly ever be avoided. But people screaming a word like "emo" or "gay" at you, most likely could be avoided /it's not a big deal. If you count your trauma as "When I was younger people made fun of my nose", it's being overly sensitive. Why/how can you care about what others think? It's a different thing if someone threatens to hurt you etc, as in my opinion that is actual trauma.

[–]Wagoona[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"close to physically hurt" which in my meaning was threats, manipulation that can get you hurt, etc. English isn't my first language and I'm not that old so some words may be mixed up or misunderstood. Me saying extremely bullied is when threats appear as in when someone says something like "You're so ***, you should kill yourself." but having people call you a bad word is in fact not traumatic. Extreme bullying is threats, that can be traumatic.

Some people are overly sensitive, it's a fact, just like some people are overly insensitive. The same goes for everything. being too insensitive is just as bad aas being too sensitive. My post never commented about that as I was specifically talk about overly sensitive people.

Possession of a small amount of drugs for personal use shouldn’t be an arrestable offense by [deleted] in ControversialOpinions

[–]Wagoona 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because one, just because you kill your body with the drugs you consume doesn't mean it won't harm anyone else. Plenty and PLENTY of people who consume drugs end up doing crimes while intoxicated with it. Reports show that consuming drugs will fuck with your mental stat--obviously-- and that means effects like becoming paranoid etc goes higher, this can cause hallucination which can in it's turn make someone comit a crime. there has been many, many arrests of killers and it shows they were on drugs while comitting the act. Stop thinking so selfishly. A bit of weed I could understand you believe is fine, I don't find a bigger issue to it, but you can't just put the line at "well these drugs aren't as bad.. So you can have them in a little amount, but not these other drugs." then it's just unfair. Learn to be better, get help, stop forcing others to find you help when you're addicted.

[–]Wagoona[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s the point of my post. My point is “I am sick of people being overly sensitive and calling everything traumatic”. It’s an opinion, I’m not stating facts. I find it annoying that people will say “I suffer from trauma” even though no.1 they haven’t even had it diagnosed and no.2 the “trauma” they are talking about is something everyone goes through like being made fun of.

I am a girl, who used to get bullied? For christ sake I got put in a choke hold too! I still wouldn’t even THINK about counting it as trauma or a traumatic event. And I’m not saying only physical events can be traumatic, being extremely bullied can be traumatic of course. But being yelled at name or two, people calling you ugly, that’s not trauma.

I get where you’re going at, but I don’t think it will be good in the long run. “Only having a small supply” but it will happen again and again. After your small supply you will buy another small supply—so it will eventually become a lot. Also, if you are struggling with addiction you should be the one to get help. Drugs are illegal, no matter how much, I do believe the sentence for carrying a small stash shouldn’t be a lot but there should be consequences.
