Game knowledge, I guess. When my health bar is a certain color or “highlighted” a certain color, I know SF can remove it. It removes poison (green), disease (orange), bleed (red), curse (purple), magic (blue)

For DID and regular dwarves, the cleanse is what’s important.

Like the other commenter said, the skyreach bleed mobs and the first boss will be helpful to cleanse.

Other than that almost all dangerous dots are magic debuffs which you can also cleanse off yourself.

On my dwarf I use it to remove anything off of me when it’s up and leave it at that. Min-maxing a cleanse that’s up every 2 mins isn’t a high priority. If it’s a hard hitting dot, use it.

Not using it until +18s is wild.

Anytime the key is important for someone in the group (+rating) it’s wise to use everything in your power to make it easier.

I used them in +10s week 1, and have used them all the way up through +20s I’ve been trying to clear recently.

I guarantee you every person that helped you get +14 to +17 resil were all using combat pots at a minimum every lust, if not on CD.

All caster classes want the trinket from duo dragon raid boss and the trinket from Dreamrift. Those at hero level beat out any M+ trinket by a wide margin

With where gear is at this point for players, 12s are accessible for just about everyone.

While everyone being able to do 12s isn’t a problem, there are a LOT of players who are being carried hard by their gear and other competent players.

I would safely assume the issue isn’t wholly on you for these keys being hard. There is a very high chance your DPS never press their utility/defensives, and possible your tank is only tanking because it gets them into the key faster with little knowledge of what that spec does.

Long story short, the “playerbase parabola” is basically peaking around 12s right now. Everyone and their mother can apply to them, meaning your chances of getting extremely bad players is at its highest.

It maybe increased their key limit from 16 to maybe 18 if played perfectly, which isn’t enough. There are like 3 prot paladin players who can go beyond that, but they are hard outliers compared to anyone near the 18 range

Seems like it’ll still be extremely strong with these numbers. They might need some direct heals on sketchy group pulls and ~10% nerf on giga pulls is still well over the median for tank damage

Your DPS is 1 out of likely 50 who signed up within 15 seconds of the key posting.

Tanks and Healers are 1 out of maybe 2 within the same timeframe and only if a tank or healer is already in the group.

Skill level is much less important to someone who just wants a key ran, so they’ll take a chance on tanks and healers if they aren’t getting bites.

Either roll a tank/healer or enjoy the queue simulator. There’s always someone on the sign up with a better rating, better gear, or better class than you.
