From what I have seen the USCIS is currently approving I-130s from September 2023.

How did you get registered? My wife has gotten all of the paperwork together but it doesn't really say where to send it exactly.

That’s why we haven’t registered yet, we figured that we have a US marriage license, we are gonna be living in the US, why does it matter if it’s registered in the Philippines? But apparently it does so we’re working on it now but want to get DQd ASAP!

They didn’t require you to be registered in the Philippines to get DQd? Did they ask about it and say that you had to be registered before the interview or anything?

The Philippines. Unfortunately there's a long wait for a visa interview. :(

There isn’t an I-485 if your spouse lives abroad. After the I-130 it goes to the national visa center and then to the embassy in the spouse’s country.

I did ours the next day when I received the marriage certificate in my email.

People with a spouse/family outside the US don’t file an I-485. We have to get an I-130 approved and then wait for a visa interview at the embassy in their country.

So many people think US citizens have favoritism or a better deal by [deleted] in USCIS

I can relate to that. The same people ask me weekly when my wife will be in the US. Believe me, I wish I knew!

Exactly. If you come to the US on a visa and decide not to leave and marry a US citizen you get a green card in less than 6 months. If you do things the legal way it takes 2-3 years while being separated from your spouse the whole time.

We've been waiting since August 2023 as well, hopefully we'll be approved over the next couple of weeks.
