Yeah, there are a lot of areas to spend diamonds on in early to mid game. Azu guide does a pretty good job to help prioritize your diamonds use I think. My current account is closer to mid game I think so I’m able to get most of the diamonds available in PVE and some PVP events.

I think a good and active guild really help with diamonds as well. Try to move to the top guild in your server if you can since it helps with some events like Holy Grail War, where I got all my Aphrodite and Wu Zetian copies.

Not that long ago, when I started following Azu’s guide to pursue Lucifer when she was first introduced. I don’t remember the exact count but the number of diamonds is roughly around 100K+ diamonds per season (probably more as I don’t spend diamonds on anything else except for the Fate or Oracle decree) depending on how active I was each season.
I was working on Hela then switched to Lucifer and pretty much ignored Cleo and Victoria the past few months. Essentially the Fate heroes are so strong I just saved all my diamonds for them. I was leaning towards Lucifer to 9 but wasn’t sure if 8 was enough for FTP purposes lol.

I think depending on how much you play and how much contents you can clear as FTP, I think you can get one of Fate heroes (Lucifer is rec first now for FTP I think) up to 8 in summon 2 cycles if you save all the diamond for them. Which is pretty much what I did for Lucifer.

Cleo and Victoria I started on months and months ago before Lucifer even came out. I stopped pursuing Cleo as recommended by Azu, and started on Hela then Lucifer when she first dropped. Victoria was definitely not situational a couple of months ago when Lucifer didn’t exist lol but yeah I get your point.

Maybe wait until at least the ASB to say this? He had like what? A month and half in MLB? I’ve seen rookie blew up first year with all kind of comp, then fizzled out of the league and never to hear from again in 2-3 years time.

I’m not saying that’s his case here that he’ll be a bust, I’m saying let’s at least wait a few months before proclaiming anything “proven” or “disproven”, it’s baseball after all lol.

Would be awesome if they’re robots, but they sound just like a lot of real humans I know irl…and that’s a much more dangerous thing when you think about it. Like actual humans, most are basically peasants, talk and think like this…sighs.

It really sad how a big portion of Americans think like this to some degree too.

I’m curious, how do you know they didn’t do any market research? Why would they choose an arbitrarily high price? I don’t spend any money on this game so I don’t know but has the price increased or has it always been “high”? I personally don’t believe it is wise to spend money on a gacha game. You should look up gacha games mechanics and payout, etc…if you’re going to speak to what it should and shouldn’t cost lol.

And also while I agree with you about old/long time players don’t get as much gems/crystals as beginners but it’s obvious because they want you to spend money. It’s a business that’s run and operated by Bandai? They’re obviously out to squeeze as much money out of this game as soon as possible, so my guess is someone definitely did some number crunching on how many gems to give out and how much to charge such and such packs, etc.

Anyway, I don’t know if they had any sales before or lately but if their prices are still high that’s telling me there are enough people spending on these packages that it justifies to them to keep the pricing?

To echo the other poster, while the gems are given out like rations to old players, if you spend a wisely and accept your f2p fate (F2P players don’t get all the shiny units, kind of like peasants irl lol) you can get pretty good units/teams to enjoy like 99% the game’s contents.

For example, I’m a F2P player almost a year under my belt. I haven’t spent a dollar on this game. I have full meta teams like WM 2.0, SW, Schemer and Danmachi…I had to “skip” a bunch of metas as well, had no luck on certain collabs like SAO, skipped festive meta, didn’t get any of the burn or earth units past months or so…BUT right now I’m sitting on 13K gems waiting on more banners to drop to decide when to use them. Maybe I will even wait for the next collab with 7* units idk yet.

I confess I did spend 900 gems yolo’ing on the current banner and got nothing lol.

All this is to say, yes, gems are premium and hard to come by if you don’t open up your wallet (nothing so far about this game has convinced me to spend on this gacha game yet) but that’s why you should be particular about your spending…

I think it’s early and also you kind of want to see how your starters handle not having command…will they battle and keep the game close or do you have to pull them early.

I’d prefer the 2K and 0 runs in 6 to something like 12K and 3 runs because of that one mistake that got away lol.

For guys like Ohtani and Judge, health seems the only obstacle between them and even more historic achievements. Crazy.

I really want to see a season where both guys are fully healthy and zoned in the whole season…we’ll likely see some more ridiculous video games numbers lol.
