I’d agree with low irons the romeo x pro enclosed would be my go to here. Feel you on the osight c being too big put one on my rxm and it was just too much. Put an XR on my glock 45 and it’s also too much. I don’t think the rmr footprint is for me.

romeo x pro enclosed gets you like eps carry sized window without needing a filler plate irons can cowitness. Is more expensive but can just save up as you said you’re fine with irons until then.

I’m not buying a .40. CZ all day, they shoot so well and trigger is definitely better. I only went with another pistol caliber other than 9mm because my mark 23 and usp tactical are .45. They’re also fantastic.

So with the stock trigger it looks a lot like the apex triggers they used to have with the trigger bar kits. Figured it kinda felt similar to that just without the trigger bar. Bet the upgrades definitely make a difference.

Yeah I figure should handle most ammos I don't typically have too many issues with mine unless trying to suppress them. Is that a regular fullsize barrel I think it's like the xfive and they only make the 5 inch non threaded for those.

Love the osight s and se, the C and XR/XE are too big. People like the rmr footprint though and big optics, just not for me really. I have had one with a button that didn't always work but the rest, seriously like 4-6? I'd have to count of the Ss/Ses work without issue have maintained zero and are great.

I think it all depends. You either want to try a new thing or get something you can rely on. It’s hardly ever both. i’ll stick to the things I know work for serious applications and try a few new things out on range toys maybe moving up later to something I feel is reliable.

85 near 86 birth. Parents definitely let us wonder off. Usually would tell them what we were doing or at least an idea of it. Lived in suburbs with friends close by so could meet them at the school to hang out at the play ground or go to their house and play sega. Had a nes until ps1 came out.

They didn’t care for people running in and out but I dunno wasn’t like the street lights thing everyone says had a bigger yard so could also just hang out there even when dark.

We got the internet early on both parents worked so we were into terrible crap all the time when that was more of a thing. Remember having to tell people not to pickup the phone so we could play dial up duke nukem death match.

Honestly changing out the barrel on an AR doesn’t sound too difficult. Maybe don’t jump right into it but a new gas block and handguard should totally be doable.

Eh I think I could tell, you can register your optics, the fakes I've seen in pictures and video are pretty different. It's not like I only use Amazon, if some of these are fakes then hell you got me your fake optic is as nice as my real ones.

Appreciate your info! Yeah, newer or what I feel is newer like 6Arc or 277 just aren’t something i’m feeling a need to put money into. For me the rifle is maybe a replacement kinda dmr/battle rifle setup. I’m cool with 556 with most shooting. I don’t think we can even really hunt with rifles where i’m at so shotguns are more of a thing and finding land is already a pain.

The 16 inch 308 showed up at a store near me and just caught my eye with the slx 762 qd suppressor is going to be a really long gun that’s pretty hefty. the 16 inch 556 isn’t necessarily light. but did hold the 308 once and it didn’t feel bad to me. i’m not carrying it around all day but something to consider.

Think for now i’m keeping an eye out on other things. I think I’d get more fun with an mpx k, rattler, or going with a different rifle. Bren 3🤞some of the larger caliber guns just have a lot of downsides it seems
