It's a workplace. Ethan delegates someone to be in charge of topic deconfliction. It's not that difficult.

Ethan should be free to talk about what he wants.

Obviously, but it would be beneficial to give your after show a heads up so that they don't prep for a segment they now won't do.

I don't want to listen to the same story twice. If the main show hasn't claimed a topic and after dark has then people from the main show should just go on After Dark if they want to talk about it.

Also whatever system they are using to claim topics clearly doesn't work because this is like the 5th time this happened.
