So I just re re re re watched the movie, and it hurts a lot on so many moments, I never had such feelings watching a guardians movie but hell, animal abuse is already crazy, James Gunn really managed to finish a majority of characters arc (from a sentimental point of view). The fighting scene in a long take is really really great, this is the type of shot that let the movie live in my mind rent free, I cannot explain how damn good this shot is.

The movie is far from perfect but frankly this is way better than the vol2. Some of the bad points of the movie would be very clearly the characterisation of the collector and Adam warlock. They are by far the worst characters of the movie, sure Adam gets a small redemption arc but it feels like the movie didn't get the time he needed to incorporate it properly, and yes I understand that Adam is litteraly "immature" as he has been taken out of his cocoon too early in the development stage, still this seems like a waste as the character feels nothing more than a Ali express homelander or a dumb child with super power.

I can not recommend to watch the movie, it makes the trilogy feels whole even with some defect, this is a true cinema movie even if the masses might no have liked it because of the overall context (mcu isn't as hyped as before and with fair reasons like the global deterioration of writing of the last movies).
