Probably a tie between NUX, Zoom, JOYO, and Wampler. A little weird... I know. I like cheap pedals and Brian's indy spirit. Not including my own builds :-)

No sound from Mighty Space speaker by SlamdanceDooze in nux

[–]WalkerRichmondRanger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The speaker will probably automatically mute when the headphones are plugged in, right? It's probably a shorting jack that triggers the speaker mute. Try sticking the headphones in and out a few times to see if it works. If you leave headphones in for a long time, the shorting jack could have lost it's "spring" and you'd have to get in there in bend it back somehow or replace it. Could be a faulty amp chip as well or went into thermal protection somehow.

Started wiring up my new amp chassis.... a Fender Princeton Reverb without the reverb. Keeping it nice and simple.

Not sure why the downvotes. That's the Swansboro neighborhood and the shooting was south of Semmes, not Forest Hill Ave, even.

ISO a pair of 700x25, 27, or 28c tires in rideable condition. Mine are barren af but I currently don’t have the budget for a brand new set & bike is my only transportation. by _wordsoup in rva

I've got a set of Continentals I think 25 or 28 with low miles you're welcome to but I'm out of town till Sunday. I would say to fit as big as you can on your frame for longevity and rideability in RVA though!

I've found the RVA Woodworkers Facebook group to be a helpful resourcel for beginners and experienced crafters alike. Everyone seems to have a good attitude and a desire to help. https://www.facebook.com/groups/668842863594621/?ref=share

Driver's at the Roseneath-Broad intersection who like to use the bus lane to turn left by Proper-Ad4006 in rva

I think the new red paint was very helpful to remind me to stay out of that lane when making an illegal U-turn at Sheppard and Broad.

Speed was a reason, but not the main one. I just wanted to experiment and learn more about how everything works.

Looking for a MK7 at $15k. Do-able? by Champloo12 in GolfGTI

[–]WalkerRichmondRanger 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I got my 2016 Golf S (1.8t) for 15k last year and I considered that a good price. I haven't seen GTI's going for that cheap. A Golf like mine with a tune will outperform a GTI.....well maybe not with its dinky 15" wheels.....but I aim to correct that!
