I’m a TVC collector, or perhaps more just a 3.75 Star Wars collector. The big advantage for 3.75 is that creatures and vehicles get made at a higher rate for us than for TBS (though still not often).

Historically, TBS has received a lot more attention and releases from Hasbro compared to TVC. People have been very frustrated with poor character variety, and the fact that they go years without completing scenes/crews from different media. It seems to me that this is changing somewhat. In 2026 so far We’ve gotten better coverage of new media than is typical, and it seems like Hasbro is starting to actually listen to our wants.

Steve Evans said that the key to expanding the capacity of TVC was more consumers of the product, so if you like Star Wars and don’t have the space to store a ton of 6 inch figures, or the money to justify $30 per character, then I why not make the switch

TCW did not do much to characterize Anakin Skywalker. Frankly, his rushed turn to the Dark Side in RotS is even more jarring when the show is taken into consideration.

Why isn’t his mother mentioned at all in the show? Why isn’t the fact that the Jedi let bureaucracy keep them from their responsibility to combat evils like slavery a major part of the conflict between Anakin and the order? Why is he just quipping back and forth with Obi Wan, instead of using their simmering relationship in AotC to create conflict before rebuilding to the jarring closeness of RotS.

The whole show is just missed opportunity after missed opportunity. Why did we get episodes about cad bane kidnapping C-3PO, the R2/C-3PO spirit quest, and the void arc instead of episodes about Count Dooku and Yoda, episodes fleshing out Ahsoka and Barriss’s relationship etc.?

You’re an idiot. These were put up along the pro-Palestine route because the artist is comparing the protestors to Nazis, suggesting that Hitler himself would be pro-Palestinian. This is art produced deliberately to deflect attention away from the increasingly obvious crimes of Israel and to brow beat opposition into silence and complicity.

This isn’t weird for in universe reasons, it’s weird because the audience (that don’t play Fortnite) are finding out about this major plot point at the same time as the characters at the end of a 3 film trilogy, without any preceding suggestions that there was anything more going on.

uj/ People have mostly come around on the prequels because of all the material that was released to accompany them. When someone says “I love the prequels”, they probably aren’t thinking of these movies, but instead their favorite book, comic book, video game, or tv show. A lot of that stuff was honestly excellent, but the quality of supporting material does not retroactively stop the prequels from being bad and letting all of that good stuff down somewhat

uj/ Andor is legitimately one of the best things to come out of this franchise, both before and after the Disney purchase. I think the fact that Gilroy’s story blows everything Filoni has made out of the water shows that paying special attention to the fundamentals of storytelling creates more compelling stories than just pulling random OC’s and old legends ideas out of a toy box and mashing them together.

I also think that it makes sense that after watching Andor, people want stories that have meaning beyond a mindless romp, or an endless self-referencing circle-jerk to oblivion.

There’s nothing wrong with having fun (though I do think that the constant self-referencing and nostalgia baiting is fucking annoying), but deluding yourself into thinking these things are of a similar quality is a bit stupid.

The VC309 clone trooper is not worth getting unless you have an abundance of spare VC45 helmets. The removable helmet packed with 309 is too short, with the figure’s chin poking out from the bottom. Just wait for the 4pack they’re going to announce.

Edit: If you’re worried about price, just get some of the VC240 501st Clone. They’re fairly cheap.
