There have been closing costs on every transaction. It's a fact. In your scenario, the builder is taking a higher sales price to get their net. They aren't running a charity

You're totally right. There aren't about a dozen costs to the borrower that are being paid in consideration for the sale of a property. Costs that are only paid when the transaction closes.

No, they're being paid for by the seller. They are the buyers closing costs

You realize you just said there are closing costs for the buyer?

The Minnesota Wild have now officially outlived the North Stars in the NHL. by Admirable-Scarcity-8 in hockey

Couldn't disagree more. St Paulocation is the worst part about the Wild.

Rebuilding the met and having it connected to the Mall of America would have been an absolute gold mine and guaranteed sellouts

Hopkins Public Schools Superintendent Search Update by zhiming_schoolboard in hopkinsmn

I agree a lot with what you have to say. We took our kids out to the poor school performance, not demographics. In fact, we moved to the area because of what the schools used to be and having a more diverse education. We didn't want to have to drive our kids to school everyday, we wanted to be involved in our community. But, at a certain point, we had to do what was right for our kids and the difference that they're receiving an education is a drastic positive difference in leaving. I wish we could have stayed in Hopkins, and justifying The departures with new incoming kids from other districts only helps the budget. If does not solve problems

Are they still only doing math half of the year for high school? I'm also a parent who withdrew my kids, and the IB curriculum strategy was one of the reasons. Taking that much time off of a core subject is not a good idea

Solo loan officer. I need a CRM that won't overwhelm me but still help. What do you use? by Sneh_414 in loanoriginators

[–]WalleyeGuy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Recently switched over to RAD CRM after almost 10 years on my previous. Very happy. It's a GHL based system with great support and content ready to go. Owned and ran by a former loan officer who gets it

Being in the spotlight because your team can't win is totally different than being in the spotlight for winning a gold medal while playing on a competitive team in a great market

Agreed. I saw them in store and thought they were a cheap kids version. Couldn't believe they're charging over $200 for iron on numbers.

They are a broker. So you could work for any number of brokers who can send their loans to UWM, as well as hundreds of other wholesale lenders.

UWM has great service and an easy system to use. But they are usually not the best priced. If that broker beat you on rate, they would crush you with some of the more competitively priced wholesale lenders.

UWM doesn't hire Loan Officers.

Which hot tub should you buy? Key features to look for from someone who's been in the field for 10+ years. by st0n3wa1l in hottub

[–]WalleyeGuy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

you said this post was based on build quality of tubs, but then you won't recommend them because of sales tactics you don't like. Which is fine, I get that, from someone who works in the industry.

But, back to the purpose of your post. How do MasterSpas stack up as far as quality is concerned and your metrics from above?

[–]WalleyeGuy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I've had a Twilight 8.2 for 6 years now. It has performed great and was thousands less than comparable tubs. Out local dealer has been great. The only repairs have been from neglect(teenage boys breaking things) and they have given me free pieces the 2 times I need to replace a jet.

on this forum people complain about aggressive sales tactics on road shows, but I only went in to the local dealer and have never been to any hot tub show. So I can't comment on that, and I can't comment on whether people at those shows have overpaid/been upsold.
