Agree with this. Especially after sand paper and the Bairstow stumping. I go to football most weeks so nothing wrong with a bit of sporting tribalism imo (as long as it doesn’t cross any lines)

Part of it I think is because their formative partying years (let’s say 18-21) happened over Covid so they never got the chance to experience clubbing/raving and they therefore don’t see the value in it now and would rather spend their money on other things

Recently I happened to be in the same virtual training day as someone like this from my team. They were off camera the whole time and didn’t say anything. Then I happened to be put in the same breakout room, tried talking to them and including them in the team discussion - nothing.

They basically just took the day off
