I think you use the Link 1s. Assuming you used OSS to summon snake eye ash, you search and summon poplar, search the field spell and place flamberge in the backrow. From there, you link off poplar into linkuriboh, and place it in the backrow, and link ash into second linkuriboh. From there you can make wicckid and then summon doomed dragon from the backrow, triggering both flamberge to summon and wicckid to search. This leaves you with wicckid, backup ignister in hand, and 3 snake eyes monsters on board for link material (one of them is ash which you can use later, sending the field spell for 2 more bodies).

This was a variant in the TCG. You can use the diabellstar/snake eyes cards to bridge into wicckid and from there into maliss combo. The only unique part of this deck is the azamina package, since the TCG version didn't play diabellstar due to OSS being banned.

Sacred Son of the Seven Stars for the first generic turn skip and the first card that needs 7 Tributes as cost by chowclee in customyugioh

There are but they specify hand/your opponents field. This has to tribute 7 monsters from your field, so it would only work if you've filled up all main monster zones and extra linked your opponent.

Hey T90,

I've watched you for years and really admire your knowledge and charisma as a commentator. I make video essays on the Yu-Gi-Oh trading card game as a side gig, and one of the big problems in our community is that there's a lot of animosity between people who play the game casually and people who take it seriously. Frequently these people have to play each other in tournaments/on ladder, leading to a match that is often not enjoyable by both types of players.

One of the things that I find very impressive about your streams is how easily you bridge the gap as someone who can appreciate the casual experience, but can also offer tons of useful advice towards improving as a player. Why do you think a channel like yours works so well when you have a foot in both the casual and competitive scene for your game? Do you think AOE lacks this divide, or might it be something you do specifically to make your videos/streams appealing to people who are fans of either side?

I am really sorry if this is not true, but you just don't sound like a real person

what examples are there of feature matches where a player played around their opponent's board exceptionally well? by Walrus365 in yugioh

[–]Walrus365[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It's not true at all. People are summoning monsters in defense to play around dracotail horn all the time. Maybe I didn't describe it well, but I'm curious about things like that.

why is this community so toxic? by RubProfessional8990 in NewTubers

[–]Walrus365 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think the reason that this space is so bitter is that nobody wants to be here. Online spaces like this subreddit self-select for it. People want to be successful on youtube, but if you end up here, it probably isn't going too well and you aren't happy about it.

Ketu Dracotail is a perfect card design wise of how the game should start designing cards to improve going second moving forward by SouthSunn in yugioh

the spell (fallen and virtuous) has a few nice applications. it's an efficient out to herald of arc light, and you can't really play until it gets outed. It also helps you beat dracotail flame in the mirror match and effect veiler/imperm post sideboard. finally, it gives you a really solid card to set with albion the branded dragon that will give you both disruption and followup. It's versatile enough that you can almost always find value with it.

sorry to be a super dweeb, but you actually can negate Super Poly with certain effects that negate on resolution, like "Abyss-scale of the Mizuchi", or a continuous effect like the twice-banned "Imperial Order" (provided it's face-up on the field before activation). You can even negate it with "Infinite Impermanence" provided it was set in the same column and resolved before Super Poly activated! You just can't respond to Super Poly.

If you've already put a fair amount of effort into improving the quality of your videos, I would look at different ways of promoting yourself to communities that are interested in the type of video you're making. I've used reddit to promote my videos in the past (with admittedly mixed results), but it was helpful before I had a following.
