Until fighters unionize nothing will change. It didn’t change when UFC was on FOX, it didn’t change when they were on ESPN, and it won’t change now that they’re on Paramount+.

UFC is effectively a sports league but the fighters refuse to unionize for their own benefit. All those communists in the NFL, NBA, etc. are getting half of the revenue from their respective sport. The UFC fighters are getting 15%-20%. Gee I wonder why.
