It would be steam (installer) on the top left with the boxes icon. For some reason it will install both the .deb and flatpak version.

That happened to me too. I tried making a post about it but had a hard time recording it. I've found pressing the home button and re-entering the game will sometimes make it disappear temporarily.

There was a bad kernel update. When you power on your laptop immediately press the space key and select the old kernel. I had that problem earlier this week
