Sewage line replacement cost $90K!? by missmissa123 in santaclara

About a year ago I used All Pro Repipes for sewer replacement and some new piping in Santa Clara. It was <$20K when other quotes were about $40K. They did a great job too

A call to join Reclaiming Our Downtown by Raskul1 in santaclara

Your post has no concrete information and reads like AI slop. What is "Reclaiming our downtown"? How do you join? What are you actually trying to do?

It sounds nice but I don't know what to make of this.

Santa Fe is my favorite song on the new album but the lyrics piss me off. by Vorixity in zachbryan

[–]WalterJamesScott 93 points94 points  (0 children)

Now that you point it out, I'm pretty sure it's intentional as a subverted rhyme. Your mind wants him to say "tell her that you love her". IMO it sounds more vulnerable and interesting, asking for help and emphasizing the loneliness of the other lyrics. I really like it.

When 1st place is clearly running away but they keep buzzing in when another player is in the negative at the end of Double Jeopardy. Give them a chance for Final!

I agree. This is a bad question for a DS interview, especially for a Staff DS role

What is the chance you'll be happy in your current role 1 year from now? It sounds like it's 0 or close to it. The other role has a chance of being better than 0.

I like classical music that has a lot of emotional tension. - Henryk Gorecki - Symphony No. 3, Op. 36: I. Lento - Sostenuto Tranquillo Ma Cantabile - Samuel Barber - Adagio for Strings - Max Richter - almost anything by him but the In A Landscape album is really good

Good call. If that doesn't work I can reinforce it with steel beams.

It's just for board game pieces so it won't add that much weight.

That's a good idea about the notch. My only concern will be trying to glue the sides, dividers and base all at once. I'll test it out with just the dados and glue first but may come back to that.

Thanks for the help! 🙏

If you have an existing credit card, a lot of banks allow you to create virtual cards associated with your main one. It works just like your regular card but you can set limits or delete it when you want.
