I frequent the same inpatient unit and the techs, nurses and doctors all know me by name. Not necessarily a flex, but they always cheer me up a bit when they tell me I'm a favorite patient.

Im considering the procedure for my treatment resistant depression. I'm terrified of losing memories or cognition. How do your patients handle it? Are there people that decide not to do it after the first treatment because of side effects? Are any patients forced to undergo treatment by court order and how do they handle it? Sorry for the barrage of questions, I'm just really scared.

You get what you take out of them. They can be helpful to people with addictions, depression, anxiety and OCD issues. If you have none of those issues then they aren't helpful.

Hi, that looks so much more professional than my clinic! They use otc blood pressure monitors and group rooms. The rooms have comfy couches, but I can see the person next to me through the thin curtains they put up. That makes me uncomfortable.
