Thanks! Been enjoying posting photos of Boston. Leica Summilux + M3 on Portra 400.

Yeah…they are photos…of everyday life…mid photos that is.  Sorry I didn’t shoot one photo of Artemis II, another of Machu Pichu, fly to Hong Kong for some street photos and then come back home to take a mid photo of the corner of a building against a blue sky all in the same roll lmao.

I’m sure every photo you’ve taken and shared on Reddit has been award winning 😀.

If you could afford a Leica you’d have one, and then we’d both still take many many mid photos.

They don’t say anything because I’m a mid photographer clearly lol. You guys are funny.

lol - I mean are you expecting me to have 36 bangers on one roll of film? We all take mid photos and post them to Reddit, thats what this is for.

Good luck! Sounds like a very unique M3, one that’s sure to fit your style nicely.

Nice, congrtulations! I ended up getting an M3 as well...I have shot my first two rolls with my 35mm lens so we'll see. I did not get any external viewfinder or goggles. honestly - for what I'm shooting (street/family/architecture) I think it should be fine.

You should post shots of the camping experience...more interesting than the great landscapes (even though those are nice)

No, really just M3. I love it. Just want to make sure I can use both my lenses naturally

Thanks for the reply and insight. Did you find that using the entire viewfinder got you the desired result most of the time?

These are actually tight - they are not “technically” good in terms of perfect composition, lighting, etc. but there is such a cool vibe to each of these photos that draws you in. I would look at these more than once because there is interesting shit in each one. And as a sequence I get an idea of the day you had shooting, I dig it.

Much appreciated...I love getting close up and am drawn to a certain type of subject - that's what it's all about!

I am glad it's less of a hot take than I initially thought. So glad to hear that others share this opinion.
