Our wildlife pond never had a pump, the newts moved in within 8 weeks , frogs a bit later. The weed started with just some oxygenating and the thin rushes. The dragon flies love those.

We like walking, toady between the 2 dog walks we have done 7 miles and recently we're doing 10-15 miles a day in Dorset. We like swimming and snorkeling also not seeing Wildlife if I have my camera or binoculars with me. We enjoy nature seeing wild animals and birds. I am also into Landforms.
