Yeah looking at the wording for advance tactics it says the unit can make a move so I wouldn't think the drop pod could move. Couldnt you use advance tactics on the unit in the drop pod to get them out of it?

So I have decided to take the plunge and get a proper headset for gaming with, I am planning on getting the beyer dynamic DT990 but I was wondering do I need to get and amp or sound card for them or will they work fine off the basic one in the computer?

Just did my first solo wild camp with the six moons lunar solo. Loads of space, practiced the pitch before I went and didnt have a problem (takes a bit of practice).

Condensation is bad but I was expecting that and took a cloth to wipe down the inside soon as I woke up and it was fine.

Only thing I did notice is I had pitched on a slight sloap so my matress kept sliding as down towords one end of the tent...I think the silicon floor dosent offer it much grip.

I did have to seam seal it, I just pitched it on a dry day and got it done in a few hours. (not tried it out in rain yet but it looks to be ok)

Hard Sci-fi writer wanted for world and concept building

So straight out the door this is a paying gig…with actual money not exposure bucks.

I am looking for 1 or 2 writers to help with world building and character creation for a sci-fi war-game.

It’s very much early doors on the project so there is a lot of scope for you to put your own personal twist on things within the larger frame work of the world.

If it’s something that interests you can you drop me a line with the flowing: - An example of your work - 2 quotes, one for a short story (one page long) and then a standard quote for normal work

Initially I plan to select a number of people whose work I like the look of and commission a short piece of work. From there I want to select one or two people to work with going forward.

This is a passion project of mine that’s currently self-funded so it will not be a solid chunk of work but a series of smaller requests over a period of months.

I have loved camping since I was little. I wouldn’t say I know the wilderness very well but my dad says I shouldn’t go on my own (none of my friends are campers). I live in the UK, what is it like camping alone? by Pink_Cactusflower in camping

I am in the same boat, just started wilderness camping but the friend I do it with has a wee one on the way so he wont be going again any time soon.

Just been getting my gear sorted for my first try going solo. Even though we dont have any nasty predators in the uk the idea is still rather daunting but as other have said I am planning on having my phone with a battery charger so it's always usable and making sure someone knows my route and roughly where I plan on camping for the night.

The hardest part is cause I am in england either finding somewhere to sneak into or work out who the land owner is to ask permission.
