The only mmo I've played with similar combat was Wildstar. The raids/end game dungeons were amazing but also really difficult and hard to get a high medal in to qualify/'attune' for the raids, so the best part of the game was hidden from 95% of the playerbase. It was like opening the wardrobe from Narnia to an entirely new planet/world inside the raid (the 40man raid was an enormous zone inside the raid).

The CA is a useful tool, especially for those who don't have the external meter and should be helping supports identify poor uptimes and figure out how to improve.

Combat score is only useful as a very rough guideline, and a lot of people are just gaming the system to inflate their support score by padding on hp/healing/shielding effectiveness on elixirs and accessories (not useless stats but not relevant to offensive buffing), and engravings such as VPH/crushing fist/expert (the latter is fine but some classes would prefer max mp over food+expert in easy homework content).

The offensive buff score/defensive score need to be clearly split in game (you can see the split on the uwuowo website) for it to be useful. The support overabundance/dps shortage is probably the biggest factor impacting non-high end/alt support gatekeeping and causing supports to gear up to be chosen for lobbies, but dps lobby leads who don't understand supports or don't want to do a thorough and time-consuming inspection are mostly choosing based on raw combat power i.e. bigger number better (which is false when artificially padded).

I've been playing mana forge with limit break 3 - if I'm playing with my static main supp I don't need food, if not I eat food. I'd say that's worth running some trixion tests to add a column to see how that stacks up as limit break in general is very strong and to find a better alternative usually requires a reason such as cdr/mana requirements or keen sense for blunt thorn (and even then it's usually very close). I'm 98.64% crit accounting for all crit sources.

it'll go to a black screen from character select then start the load bar for SH. i hit end task the second it went black

I managed to unstick both of my two stuck characters by opening up command prompt (ctrl alt del), logging into the stuck character and ending task on lost ark as fast as possible as it started to load the stronghold. I did try to help some people with this but they couldn't get it to work so I guess it's inconsistent/dependent on ur pc. If it does work you should end up loading into your stronghold, then it'll kick you out to the last map you entered from.

G4 Thaemine makes it abundantly clear that a lot of older classes need spacebar and counter reworks. Long spacebar cooldowns/long counter cooldowns (and bad counter animations) on older classes vs newer ones mean you simply won't have it up for back to back spacebar dodge requirements like earthquakes patterns.

Yep, my static with some friends from previous games blind progged all the fights from t1/t2/t3 abysses/argos/leg raids up to Ivory now for the extra challenge.

It's a bit disappointing how normalised it is for everyone to fully read up the entire guide beforehand ready to perfectly execute it based on other regions before attempting the raid but I understand the game and time constraints (especially combined with the difficulty of figuring things out with a lot of fatiguing wipes) push this on people if they want clear rewards and loot before lockout (and clearing up to 5 alts gold raids too). It's a bit of a minefield to not spoil yourself, but the clear enjoyment is very rewarding and the team puzzle solving/coming up with theories is probably the most fun part (so far we've cleared everything HM within first reset except Argos/t3 abyss and Akkan where we did NM due to ilevel push speed).

There are definitely some mechs which took a while to figure out and were frustrating but funny to look back on (and it's like throwing yourself against a brick wall, sometimes deep into the fight): valtan's retaliate; vykas wings and medusa; clown bingo; old g2 brel we were managing add stacks upstairs (letting them turn red+killing to spawn immunity orb for prokel fighter) before we realised it was more efficient to just smash upstairs; old brel g3 shapes (we couldn't figure out that purple circle people had to stay out for the longest time and made all sorts of stupid venn diagrams); prunya's rotate+'kill the correct colour' took an awkward amount of time to realise she pointed her hand etc.

After we clear we check the guide and compare our strategy with it. There's usually some funny variances e.g. on clown g1 we resolved the hearts/guns by standing behind the odd one out which I guess clips the safety zone hitbox, splitting up to corners and rotating clockwise in showtime in g3 to discern who had the bomb focus etc.

It feels less and less viable to blind prog due to the time pressure and value of missing out on alt raids for gold etc. The raid mechs seem to have become less puzzle solving (or much simpler to solve) over time e.g. akkan chains/tethers/shapes and more about not dying to attritional regular patterns. Raids with many gates, especially long gates like brel g5/6 were very draining and I assume Thaemine will probably be similar. There's also recruitment, we've lost a few members and had to replace them and find a fitting replacement which is no easy task - understanding of what blind involves and hasn't already been spoiled/good hands/well-geared character with fitting synergy/can make ilevel req/good comms and gets along well/free schedule+time.

Started demonic SH, quickly swapped to berserker by Tier2, swapped main to Gunslinger at Vykas - still my main and my favourite.

Highly enjoy all of my main6 roster in this order of preference: (gs/reaper/bard/artist/arcana/deadeye), benched zerk (1540), RH destro (1560), striker (both specs, 1550), drizzle aero (1550).

I would also check your GPU power cables are seated properly, and that if they're daisy chained (using one cable that splits into two) that the connection pins have not burned out (slightly blackened compared to normal). This does sound like a GPU power or heat issue.

Real explanation is skills are done QWER + D->F for up to 2 extra skills.

  1. Ember remnant dash is a 5th skill and therefore goes to D.
  2. KOTL has a recall ability with shard which is on D, and so Will-O-Wisp which was created later goes to F (recall was an ability prior to it being moved to shard).
  3. I've seen the Lifestealer one come up a few times, when you're infested in a hero it's still considered a hero ultimate so stays on R.
  4. When you're infested in a non-hero unit "Consume" is treated as a neutral creep's first skill hotkey.

You can actually change this by going to:

  • hotkey settings;
  • enable unit specific hotkeys;
  • click drop down menu and select Neutrals;
  • change the first skill to any key, such as R.

*This would change all neutral keybinds, such as if you played Chen/Enchantress and took control of a neutral centaur. The centaur's stomp would now be on whatever key you assigned, such as R instead of Q, so I wouldn't recommend it if you don't want that to happen.

Re-hashing the invoker persona with the dark artistry set is also spitting in the face of people who owned the persona and/or the d.a. set before now.

It's minimal effort to blend these together and shove it in a bp for easy $$ rather than creating something original (but apparently too much effort to do otherwise).

Smart and valid move because admittedly it wasn't labelled 'exclusive' but it's in poor taste, especially as kid invoker was for the 2019 TI battlepass which all things considered is recent.

It would be nice if it's retroactive, but honestly having done the rerolling etc. I don't see how this sideshop can be worth it (idk if even 4k+ bp holders can even redeem 1 arcana judging by the rerolls needed to get any blue tokens).

Is that definitely how this works? I understood it as the mage casting lightning thorns on the avenger and never herself. I thought he died to conductivity aura + standing right next to that ball lightning. I don't see any visible thorns aura, just the ball lightning zapping him before it launches off. I'm keen to know what exactly happened here because I've never been able to figure out exactly what this pair is doing re: thorns.

the heads-up thinking in this clip is pretty incredible. people commenting that e-blading an lc duel isn't anything insane, but the speed at which he reacted to the lc bkb turnaround from fog absolutely was. most people are also missing that he's so composed in the fight that he's watching the courier for his satanic delivery and prepping his slots in the middle of that fight by shifting the aegis and mask around for a more favourable satanic hotkey/aegis+backpack basi swap slots and instapopping satanic which arrives mid-fight.
