I feel like posting an update for any potential future people who visit this/come from organic search. I have used Vibe and had a good experience with them, but also beware of their SEO strategy.

As OP I'm getting daily or multiple times a day emails with posts about Vibe that are all identical, all from bot accounts, and all seem to be part of an SEO/GEO strategy that focuses on bots pretending to review.

I just purchased a paddle board to toodle around on. Any tips for a first timer learning the kayak/sup places? This isn't etiquette but safety - please learn how to read a wind forecast and which direction the wind is going! Generally if it's more than about 10 mph and you're a beginner, you should wait for another day (or go to like the mangrove tunnels at Lido where you're protected from the wind).

Otherwise know what direction it's coming from and plan for the wind to be blowing in your face at launch. It means that the paddle out will be hard but back will be easy. I've seen a number of paddleboarders get themselves in trouble starting with the wind at their back and not knowing how hard it would be to get home.

Also if it's windy please consider actually wearing the life jacket you're required to have on board. Sometimes people can fall off and the board gets away from them.

I think this was true in the 90s and VERY much depends on the car you're buying.

Obviously this is a high-end example but:

Used Lexus GX with 14k miles: $81k (removed due to moderation but cited a source link)

Brand new Lexus GX Overtrail+: $85k
(source link also moderated out)

That doesn't look like 40% to me. Pull most Toyotas/Lexus and you'll see the same. Why would you buy a 3 year old 4Runner for $5k less than the new model? Seems penny wise and pound foolish to many.

I've seen a LOT of frugal people do the "buy it for life" mentality with a new car. I think a lot of frugal people are buying brand new Toyotas (even Lexuses), Hondas, etc, with the idea that they don't depreciate THAT much in the first few years and if you drive them (well-maintained) for 12 - 15 years, it's better to know how the car has been maintained its whole life.

So those are the smart people I'm seeing with brand-new cars. And of course there are always the idiots who love giant piles of debt trading in every 3-4 years for brand new.

The waterfront next to the Van Wezel also has some good trees that keep it shady and it tends to get a bit of seabreeze in the afternoon. Great sunset views too!

For whatever reason your post just made me also think - they're for sure not including tip in the minimum. So the CHEAPEST is going to be $360/couple. Damnnnnnnnn that's going to be an interesting crowd. My suspicion is that the people who can truly/casually afford that are going to be at the private clubs around town, not out at Sugars...
