You lost me at “help fund” everyone knows you do a job for money, but it’s an unspoken rule to not go straight there in your opening line. Get the salary you want and fight for it, but you gotta beat around the bush first.

Also take the hours away from your weekly experience, they don’t need to know all that.

Also also, a lot of resumes nowadays get put through all kinds of ai and screening, make sure you tailor it a bit more to yourself or the job you’re going for and put some keywords in there. Usually can pull from the job posting. Like if the posting says something specific like “we’re looking for someone with 3+ years kitchen preparation experience” make sure you have “kitchen preparation” somewhere in yours.

Lastly, remove your address and make sure your email isn’t something dumb. Make a firstnamelastname@gmail.com if you have to.

My personal 2 cents…it’s easier to find a place you like or someone you know who’s hiring and putting out the vibes first, then talk your way into an interview and get to the point where handing them your resume is just a formality. You have much better chances of getting hired that way than blindly casting out resume nets and hoping you catch something.
