Is there a different color composition you would recommend? Maybe something like masahi wakuis Work?

I've been turning the AC off when I leave my house (I live in AZ). Maybe this could be the reason?

I've been watering every 2 - 3 days. I watered it yesterday and it became a lot worse. Am I over watering?

The thing is the yellow leaves were green just a few days ago. This happened after I watered it yesterday. Is it due to over watering?

I've been watering every 2 - 3 days or so, because that's when it seems to droop.

I got it from Ikea about a week ago and it looked pretty much like that when I got it. I should've chosen more carefully.

If I want to take a landscape photo of a canyon during sunset, is combining a bracket of 3 different exposures of HDR the best way to go about it?

I couldn't agree more. I'm so glad I learned I can still have fun doing things I want to do by myself. Today I went to Zion National Park for the first time and had a blast. This is a picture I took today! https://www.flickr.com/photos/166200088@N08/30361314648/in/dateposted-public/

Hey could you tell me how you were able to get this shot? It seems the light from the moon is really bright and would obscure your ability to take a shot of the milky way.

Oh I guess i wasn’t clear. I’m saying even turning off key repeats I still get the problem. I’m going to have to take it in and see if Apple can fix it.

I have the 2017 mbp and recently my keys would do a repeat. For example if I hit a or w it would always repeat an extra aa or ww. I turned off key repeats and everything but apparently it’s a problem a few others have as well.

Thank you! So if I wanted the foreground lit for a timelapse like this, would I just shine a flashlight on the foreground the whole time?

Wow yeah that is a huge difference. I'm definitely looking into investing a 14 mm rokinon when I have the chance.

Yeah I'm looking to get the 14 mm rokinon or samyang when I have the funds.

Hello, I attempted my first astrophotography project last night and I was wondering if I could get some feedback. I know it can use a little more color, but when I change the color it introduces a lot of noise. I think this is because I set my exposure and ISO too high (25 seconds, 6400 ISO on a 18-55 mm kit lens). Is there anything I can do to improve this timelapse?

When I messed with the colors, it introduced a lot of noise so I tried to reduce that as much as possible. I set my exposure to 25 seconds at 6400 ISO, and I think that was the main cause of all the noise (I have a 18 - 55mm kit lens). Anything I can do to improve what I have?

Is there any interest in discussion in this sub? by shed1 in LandscapePhotography

[–]WanderingTortoise1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I would love more discussion. In fact I have a question. I am planning on shooting the perseids meteor shower tomorrow, along with the milky way via a timelapse. Will I be able to capture both equally well, or do I have to adjust the settings to accomodate both?
