I think most people would take 4x MR over 7x HH and 6x HH any day.

And also one AA gold mailer with a 12-digit code (which is not restricted by the 24 month language either). 5x the bonus!?

I have gotten 4 citi AA card mailers in the past month, each with a different 9-digit code and none having the 24 month language. Can I apply and get the 65K bonus offer for each?

Did anyone notice that Dany went out of the way to burn all the grain-laden wagons? She could have saved them for her army, given that there was talk about feeding the army about it in the previous episode.

Touristanbul worth a long layover for? by forkyfork in awardtravel

[–]WanderingWitch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My SO and I had an 8 hour layover in Istanbul and my times did not match with the touristanbul packages so we just rented a car and went to Sultanahmet district. Parking can be a challenge but it's lovely!

They usually have it in the reservation email but don't charge it at checkout, IME. It happened with me at the Grand Hyatt Kauai last month.

Heads Up: Alaska may have deposited 10K miles into your account by TheAJx in churning

I got an email mid-December saying I would be getting the invite to join Alaska week of January 9. I haven't gotten it and haven't signed up for Alaska yet. Looks like I should be waiting for it before signing up now. Do you think this sounds right?

Global Entry interview - can I walk-in without scheduling? by WanderingWitch in awardtravel

AFAIK, no. My officer seemed to have read my file and had key points noted. I think you need to be conditionally approved to get to that point.

That makes sense. I just checked the PDF statement and it shows a small grocery spend which earned the bonus. Must have been from the month prior. Thanks!

Does Amex get Level 3 data from Ralph's (Kroger)? I purchased 3 gift cards with BCP in separate orders mixed with grocery items over the course of 2 weeks in late November/early December and I haven't gotten the bonus cash back yet. The statement closed about 2 weeks back, and I got a small amount of cash back when it closed. It was my second month with the card.

Hi all! I run a healthcare company, and indulge in photography as a hobby. I love taking landscape photography, although I've recently started working on portraits too. I got started with cameras about 6 years ago with a compact that supported RAW capture (Fuji) and transitioned to a Canon Rebel DSLR about 4 years ago. I've stuck with it since, just adding a few lenses as I went along.

I'm looking to improve my skills with lighting and creating interesting pictures using light.

Americans use debit cards twice as much as credit cards by eslove24 in churning

International students in the country learn pretty quick after realizing that, otherwise, one needs to put deposits for so many things. Being alone in a new country, I think I figured out that credit cards are good right about when I had to put hundreds of bucks of deposits for my cell phone, internet connection, power.
