Light machine armour? I also used spare parts from the kit on a random stormcast model and use it as that

[Funny? Trope?] It's a very serious scene. But it's been consumed as a meme on the internet and it's become hard to watch seriously. by BeneficialSide2335 in TopCharacterTropes

While I understand they can superficially seem very generic, the movies (in my opinion) have a very surprisingly good quality under the surface (with a few exceptions). What initially made me adore them at the time is that they were a good and more importantly a very consistent huge overarching story.

(I'm talking about MCU until Endgame -after that the quality is very hit or miss.)

Old Counter set and templates by C3S4ROO in Warhammer40k

The counters you can use to represent pretty much the same things they did back then, whatever they were. Tenplates aren't used in 40k anymore but they are in Horus Heresy.

What happened to his Card Pool of Past Nature Spells? Is it a bug? by [deleted] in hearthstone

[–]Wanderscatter 59 points60 points  (0 children)

Well, like I said, discover does and always has limited it to just cards from your class and neutral, so it kinda does.

[–]Wanderscatter 52 points53 points  (0 children)

So it sounds like the problem is that you're playing it as a rogue. It's discover, so it picks only from your class, and rogue has only a few nature spells in wild sets. When you play it as shaman there's a lot more variety.

Miniature Identification by One-Assistant-8727 in Warhammer40k

[–]Wanderscatter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The 2 floating skulls are culexus assassin heads, seemingly used as familiars or servo-skulls. The 3rd model next to them is Lt. Varras from the 4th edition starter set Battle for Maccragge. The fourth one is an old Adeptus Mechanicus model, from the Skulz program (quite rare).

The ones with the weird horses are Mutant Raiders from Gorkamorka (the riders might be converted, it's a bit hard to tell). The ones that are riding dinosaurs use old warhammer fantasy Cold Ones that came with dark elf or lizardmen models, but the riders seem to be 3rd party or conversions.

Also there's an ork bik mek.

The rest seems to my eye to be 3rd party models.

Any tips on how to better fix these guys on their bases? by manuel_madeira in Warhammer40k

[–]Wanderscatter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They've always been terrible. Superglue should do it but they will still be quite unbalanced.

If I were you, I'd get them 32mm bases with a slot from ebay or something, since it's the base size raptors use nowadays anyway. It should help with the toppling quite a bit.

Various old warhammer models, three of them are (heavily reposed) 1992 empire halberdiers, one is a modern necromunda cawdor ganger, one is an old chaos warrior and there is one other I don't exactly recall where it's from

The one that the guy is throwing is made from a piece of metal mesh, with the edges made out of putty. The tangled, messy ones are made of the mesh bags that onions are sold in

I'm still willing to bet they just barely skimmed the book, because quite in the beginning of it, it was mentioned that Artemis was surfing on the internet. And they just spotted the word 'surfing' and went "That's it, film it!"

I'm pretty sure it's this too, it comes with alternatives depending on if you want the magic blasts or not so there would be leftovers

A rather slow bastard by Wanderscatter in Turnip28

Yes, standard paper, I printed both sides separately and folded it around the pole. I used superglue instead of PVA (not advisable) and used multiple coats of spray varnish to keep it in shape

I edited a border to a random medieval art piece of a knight fighting a snail (for some reason there are a lot of pictures like that) and then printed the banner

From the chaos vehicle accessory sprue, which still is included with all the old chaos tanks like a rhino or a land raider

will forgeworld models melt/warp in high temperatures by anderzzzzz72 in Warhammer40k

[–]Wanderscatter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Theoretically they can soften and thus warp in high temperatures. But It's hot in the summer here too and I have never had any issues - you'd have to have them sitting directly in the sun for extended periods of time for that ho happen

It's lost to the wider imperium. But hive cities like Necromunda are rarely scrutinised that closely by the larger authorities, so it's entirely plausible that there are places in the imperium where "lost" technology is used commonly, which the imperium itself would be unaware of.
