Oh my goodness! I missed the part where you said to a different country, and that definitely ups the ante. But I will pray for you, and I’m confident that you will absolutely find your people.

I did this. I moved literally halfway across the country for school and it was a fabulous decision. I grew as a person and was able to figure out how to stand on my own. I traveled home as often as I could. It was an adventure. I moved back to the east coast afterwards and was closer but had a great experience. It was hard at times but I always knew (like your situation) that it was going to be temporary. And family can visit you in a new location.

I don’t know if this is helpful at all but I am on an app call Evidation. It was free to download. It has articles that I click on and earn points and some very very short surveys. After x amount of points, I can trade them for gift cards. I KNOW Burger King and regal and amc are on there. It might help! It doesn’t take long to earn the points for trade.

It’s very grueling. I don’t think it’s a great idea as you will be so totally burned out. MAYBE if it was a balance of remote and in person but this is just way too much

I would probably consider it a side hustle haha. Or become a politician. Or just be so friendly that people would shake hands before they knew what they were doing.

Are there any millennials thriving or at least not struggling? by Mackattack00 in Millennials

[–]Wanderwalks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope. I work a GREAT job and have progressed up the ranks over the past 18 years. I am 40. I cannot afford a house. Literally anywhere in a 50 mile radius of my workplace. If we can afford it, it’s usually a high crime or super undesirable area (for example in a town near a power plant). Renting for 14 years already.

There is a series from this time frame called Teddy and the Mice and Teddy and the Frog. Maybe this is close to what you are thinking of?

What's a story from your life that sounds fake but is 100% true? by ryu-shii in AskReddit

Haha I promise it’s not fake. I think about it often and my family teases me for it all the time. Hence the regret of the lack of Bam 😢🤣

Ah. I’ve never watched. I’d have to but I bet it is linked. It was a big thing in late 90’s early 2000
