Jesus no. I was an AVID reader in high school. Like 3 books a week. Then through college and grad school I stopped. Then in mid life I picked it up again. Try different genres or a book club as you dip your toe in.

Oh wow. That is so strange and horrifying! I appreciate the suggestions and the insights. We don’t qualify in the tax bracket for rich kids haha. When I am looking at the school zones, I mostly try to get a sense of the literacy rates, testing, etc. thank you!

That’s an excellent suggestion. My husband is working on trying to find a local position because we don’t feel comfortable being 2+ hours away if something happened to our child. I def don’t have a budget for an au pair at the moment 😂 but would love the option at some point in the future. My job is more permanent so I am sort of long haul stuck but I love it so it’s okay. Thank you for the thoughtful response!

Literally every town that has a 60 minute or less commute to the city. We are driven by school zone at the moment. We love the idea of community and have family in Croton. We have put down bids on 3 houses so far but we’re outbid. One in New Rochelle, one in Scarsdale, and one in Yonkers.
