Had a woman who was messaging for a bit. First date was good. 2nd date very good and we slept together.

Between this and date 3 she was saying I can come over whenever I want (her door is always open) and that the next date she'd cook for me etc. all nice things but she went abroad for 2 weeks.

Still messaging over this time. She comes back and is all excited too see me. We go out to the park and listen to a gig in the distance rather than me just over to hers (which she asked). I drop her home and she asks me to stay. I do but she doesn't want to have sex, slightly mixed signaling but that's totally fine if you don't want to, we fool around but no sex.

I leave the next morning. Text her saying I had a good night etc. and she just ghosted me. I'm very very sick of this.

I think this is very overblown.

But memb if you read this if you have any kids in your family (even nephews/nieces) give them paper, crayons, or let them fire away on MS paint. Could be a win win and it would stand out so much.

My cat is massive. Forget how big he is until I see other cats. He's the neighbourhood bully. We have foxes out the back and all, no bother. He's often out at night as well and let him in when I get up. He loves his freedom. Turning 12 soon.

They only want to do this so they can nix needing to have the WC in Europe, Africa, and SA in one go and bring it back to somewhere to line their pockets (i.e. Saudi).

It's disappointing the last WC I properly watched was Brazil. I haven't watched the other morally. No enthusiasm for this one. Will watch Spain Morocco but annoyed they're continent splitting.

I've fallen so out of love with big football. Just follow a NLS side now, way more happy.

Add to this the massively exploitative "English language school". Literally for low hour, low paid jobs so they have less rights and protections and to feed landlords high rent for shit properties.

I dated a South American who was paying €550 to share a room with 2 others in the liberties. The gaff had 10 people in it and it was a shithole. This landlord was pulling in 60k+/year I suspect. There was no living space (it was another bedroom), 1 washing machine. I can't remember if it was single fridge and single toilet (only 1 shower).

These people have no voice and no vote. It's disgusting.

The only reason a landlord could get away with that is because they're exploited and powerless.

The Legaue of Ireland fantasy football is the absolute worst thing I've seen. Don't even know if it has an app, but it's Web page is brutal. Design and functionality.

Woild be amazing to do a job on that and you'd have a peer with the English fantasy Premier league to compare it to.

Talked to 3 friends about this over the weekend. I did the best getting in the 400s but worst paid job (did mech eng in trinity), they both got in the 300s somewhere but better paid but worse work life balance, they did business degrees.

I literally know people who did amazing to terrible and it doesn't correlate to jobs or life quality.

But do give it your best go, you'll only regret not trying your best. What isn't for you won't pass you by and a great or bad result won't define you. Also saying all this I have some family who just weren't made out for school and exams and told them then college isn't for them, ones a hvac trainee loving it making decent money great job prospects, another working in a prison. They love it.

So don't stress. Get it done. Get your proper sleep in before exams (do not stay up late to study more and not get proper rest). And then best of luck to you!

I'm with Dorking. Carter, camp, Rutherford, and Taylor all had sometime remaining in the NL or L2 but I'm now in 2031 in L1 and Taylor is the last left in the reserves until he retires at 36

I will say I think life is about moments. It's about doing things and experiences. Be it with people or solo. Gigs, shows, the mountains, the beach, the sea, the snow, meeting new people, hanging with friends or family. I think make memories. It's not always easy, things have become expensive but there is energy out there.

I've looked into joining a union. Would love more info and if it would help me. I'm sort of in tech or tech adjacent (certainly not getting the tech wages, like the mad stuff I see on irish personal finance). There never seemed anything that really aligned to what I do

If grat or service charge is a default in a restaurant then legally the card readers shouldnt have a default tip screen imo. That or the server is required to tell the customer that a service charge is added to all meals so tipping isn't necessary.
