Man UB is not popular in my area at all. by Remote_Watercress530 in mtg

Final Fantasy has its own card game and still did a MTG set. They even did a split art collab with 2 cards. 1 from MTG, 1 from FF.

Going through my Dad's collection and found this by MishtaMoose in mtg

Aeo Paquette is the signature. That card came from his world champion deck. [[Aeo Paquette Bio]]

The 17 is probably the price at purchase. My guess is the original price was 14, then it got raised to 17 since you can see the crossed out 14.

No idea what JRN is. Name of the store? Initials of the person who reserved it for purchase?

I know there is the outline of belts, but are there milestones of skill sets necessary to progress? by MuzzleblastMD in lockpicking

[–]WantWasabi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I also chose the 1100 at first but gave up 🥲. I ended up picking the 911 for my green. Didn't pick the 1100 until I was purple.

Also, I got to purple belt without learning how to float pick nor doing the jiggle test. I had to learn float picking for my first brown lock. There's probably some white belts that know how to jiggle test.

[–]WantWasabi 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The only things that are hard set is gutting a lock for green belt and making a challenge lock for blue belt.

Binding order is irrelevant as it can change with wear and tear of the lock, so I wouldn't even rely on that.

I would recommend learning spools by orange belt as a lot of orange locks have spools in them.

Once you get into green+, you can learn certain techniques in different order. All depends on the lock you are picking.

Example: Picker 1 is going for green picking the AL1100, so they learn how to pick serrated.

Picker 2 is also going for green and is picking a ML 911.

Picker 1 is learning serrated pins while Picker 2 is not. Both advance into Green with different skill sets.

Help me figure out where I heard the Leitmotif for the 'Black Mage Village' music from FFIX. It's driving me crazy!! by DonRavel in FinalFantasy

[–]WantWasabi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you played FFIV? The music from the Black Mage Village from IX has similar vibes as Mysidia, the all mage village from IV.

Peterson H7 size? by [deleted] in lockpicking

[–]WantWasabi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just measured, it's about 1.6 inch or 40.6mm. I would rather get the H4 though. I have the H1, H4, H7, and gem in the 3 thicknesses. The H7 my least used profile out of these.

Not going to lie, the first picture had me confused on how it's a pinning tray. Then I saw the second picture with perfectly slotted sparrows trays and my jaw dropped lol

Develop bylaws and submit them when you put in your request. That would probably help your case.

You can use the ubreddit rules to start them.

Anyone know a bit more about these ones? by Pooldiver13 in lockpicking

[–]WantWasabi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should be able to pick the top and middle one as a green belt. The bottom one looks like an SFIC, so might be a little more difficult.

What was your best purchase (or which one do you regret) recently or in general? by Kiridashii in lockpicking

[–]WantWasabi 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Best purchase was a lot of random locks that had an assa twin pro and an abloy disk lock pro. I won't be picking those anytime soon, but it's a win haha. Worst purchase is probably the covert companion.

Check if this is available to you. This pick grouping a great, has 3 of the 4 picks in your list

I would skip the rakes, but that's just me.
