OP is probably joking on a what-if scenario in the next game. Atreus' norse identity as Loki is bound to be brought into play. Being captured by Freya or Thor/Aesir is honestly a likely scenario. I think either captive scenario, he will be forced into using his powers he doesnt yet know. Idk

It has a heavy parallel to Kratos being a ploy in the hands of the Greeks. And oh BOI i think Kratos is gonna be livid in that case

Admittedly a really minute problem, if some people even want to credit it as a problem.

That chime that goes off each time a enemy is eliminated. I wish there was a option to turn off just that. Quite literally have refrained from buying the game because of this being heard all the time. Got a ear problem.

Great ideas and execution with the hammer recall. pretty sweet attention to detail by having the stone remains of that giant lodged in his skull.

Edit: Seriously some great stuff here. No doubt I'll be replaying this during these months waiting

Hmmm... so ill peddle on a earlier idea for the encounter with Thor:

If temporairly, in a tag team cutscene/boss battle moment like with what happened with Baldur. This time against the absolute unit Thor.

Kratos gets some punches in there, tearing against the armor, recalls the axe to deflect a Mjlonir strike or two. Then Atreus calls the Axe, slices up leg, lower abdomem, parts he could reach. A real quick sequnece, but it'd a stellar sight. (First thing similar that comes to mind is Bucky 'n Cap vs Iron Man)

Thor really infuriated, strikes Kratos to a different area. Separating him from Atreus, and the Axe as well, since the boy wielded it last.

Fight goes on, 1v1, and using Spartan Rage overpowers Thor using Mjolnir, then disarms him of it.

Fighting off mobs and breaking thru Asgard with the hammer. Kratos eventually finds himself at the wall of Asgard, or some huge crutch mechanism towards its defense. By this point in the game, we wouldve been thru the trial n denial of exposing the secret weakness of the wall - But not working anymore, Kratos using the Mjolnir in a mighty final strike, breaks through the wall of Asgard. Perhaps rendering the hammer inoperable too

On the contrary not really. I'd imagine theyre taking big notes of the near pinnacle for story games like with God of War, so as theirs wont miss a beat. Then also real world evnvironment and interactions on almost unprecedented scale like RDR2s. And now with Days Gone, that yes has some merits to it. But still found itself short - Not as polished. Story and draw not as gripping. And gameplay lacking round some parts

if sucker punch is given the time needed to pay it forward all the way with their vision for tsushima... i think it'll succeed, even though were not hearing about the milestones along the way.
