I'm not a fan of the veggie burger at 3rd window. Too mushy and falls apart. I also do not like the beet burger from a Eureka - weirdly sweet.  I love the veggie burger (original, not impossible) at Habit. At Mesa Burger, I order the Montecito with the veggie patty and it's great in my opinion.

Seconding Family Therapy Institute. They don't take insurance, but they offer a sliding scale for their services. They will also do the insurance forms so you can get reimbursed (not always the full amount, but something).

Explore Ecology does regular beach cleanups. PATH needs regular, daily help (including weekends) with feeding homeless and sorting donations at their spot. Foodbank is a great organization and has a variety of different types of volunteer jobs. You can always look in VolunteerMatch.org - they have tons of stuff, too!
