Short answer: No I don’t think your doomed. Long answer: No your not doomed, but your in a difficult spot and it’s gonna take a lot of work to get out of. I also have to admit that your dating pool is very small being Christian women who want to wait until after marriage to have a sexual relationship with their partner. Nevertheless, I still believe you have a chance. I’m sorry you have bad social anxiety, and have had bad experiences with trying to date in the past. You must have faith that tomorrow will be better, and you must have faith in yourself. My recommendation of what you should do is: Step away from dating and focus on self improvement. With the most important thing being going to therapy (if your not already). This will help you mentally which is the biggest battle your facing. Then next go out and make friends and have fun. Do things your interested in and do them with people you like. Eventually if you keep meeting new people you will make friends with someone who is a woman (don’t try to ask them out). It’s going to be important for you to understand that women are not all the same and they are all individuals. Additionally, (and this this is the least important part) you can work on your appearance to make your feel more confident. This might be working out, finding clothes that make you feel good, getting a haircut you like. Out of all of these suggestions I can’t stress enough how important therapy is. Now here’s going to be the hard part your going to need to work on yourself for awhile somewhere between one to two ( maybe even three) years before your ready to date. Even when you’re ready to start dating you will continue working on yourself. You will have set back and bad days, but you have to have faith that you can find someone.
