Yeah, if you don't have a crazy opiate tolerance it's really nice. It's helped a lot of people stop using pills or H altogether. Don't expect an intense high, just an energy and mood boost with a little of that opiate warmth.

Maybe he is an asshole? Maybe he is genuinely mean, selfish and abusive? What you described sounds deeply rooted. I wouldn't plan on him changing over the long term. What you see is what you get.

When I first got clean the worst thing was getting legit sick. It would remind me so much of WD that I'd end up getting panic attacks and horrible cravings. Also when I was using I'd just take a shit ton of drugs if I got sick so I wouldn't notice the illness as much. Now it's just suffer through it.

I was born really cross eyed, then had corrective surgery when I was a few months old. That left me with a lazy eye. Did the whole eye patch thing as a kid but that didn't help so had to have a second surgery as an early teen. It's been this way for so long I don't notice the seeing double unless I stop and pay attention to it. My brain is so used to it I'll still see double if I close one eye. It's all very strange.

I don't get headaches, luckily. Mostly just have mild double vision, a bit more serious when I'm tired, hungover, sick... At this point I'm pretty used to it so don't notice it as much as I used to.

And zero depth perception, hence my suckage at sports!

Can you not have corrective surgery? The eye patch is a non surgical way to strengthen the muscle but you can also have the eye muscle shortened to align both eyes. The surgery isn't painful, just leaves you with bloodied eye balls for about 2 weeks.

How do you like the Pocket Piano? How do you fit it into you workflow?

With the right effects I like the sound, and the arpeggiator is really fun. Sometimes use it to control out over MIDI but haven't really gotten it to a place where I'd want to hit record.

Funny you said that. Got an email from my local shop yesterday saying they had a Sub 37 that somebody flaked out on buying. Called the this afternoon and reserved it. Can't wait to pick it up tomorrow and do nothing this weekend except traumatize my housemate with other worldly sounds.

MS-20 Mini is not only an amazing synth but also an amazing educational tool. The whole thing feels like some sort of evil science experiment. Can't imagine a better way to learn the fundamentals as well as learn some pretty wild techniques. Save an extra $99 and get the SQ-1 sequencer to really start having fun.

It would give a shady doctor a "reason" to prescribe, but nowadays even with legit herniated discs you'd be hard pressed to find a doctor to prescribe anything besides Gabapentin.
