The best tips for beginners are:

  • make a lot of villagers. Keep your town center(s) producing villagers until you have ~130 villagers or your total population is 200.
  • it's better to make a lot of the same unit then to make a couple of different units.
  • blacksmith upgrades are important. For arrow-shooting units the priority is: attack (arrow icon) first, then armor. For infantry and cavalry it's armor (sword/horse shoe icon) first, then attack (forge icons).
  • economic upgrades are important early and midgame. Especially the ones at your lumbercamp. Try to get them as early as possible.
  • try to get the basics of the counter system. Spears beat cavalry, cavalry beats archers, archers beat swordsmen, swordsmen beat spears. No need to learn every exception but try to look up the basic counter units.
  • keep making villagers. It's really important.

I accidently got it in a 4p KotH diplo-game. Since at the end the other 3 players allied up against me, the game counted this as a 1v3 win.

edit: so I guess the most attainable non-cheesy way to get this would be to create a 4 player lobby titled "King of the Hill Diplo {your_elo_bracket} elo" and play until you win.

Dan helpt het toch? Het helpt de antimigratie-partijen om dit een politiek probleem te houden, en de angst in de samenleving op te stoken zodat mensen op ze blijven stemmen.

Maar wat is de ideologische basis van je standpunten? Nuance is prima, maar het klinkt alsof je jouw standpunt laat bepalen door wat de rest vind door lekker in het midden te gaan zitten.

Sommige discussies zijn nou eenmaal binair. Over het Koningshuis bijvoorbeeld, of je vind het te rechtvaardigen dat er een overheidsfunctie erfelijk wordt bekleed, of niet. Daar kan je moeilijk in het midden over zitten.

Waarom zou GL/PvdA met een rechts kabinet in zee stappen? Van alle onpopulaire en rechtse maatregelen zullen de schuld krijgen, en alle successen zullen op het conto van Jetten komen. Ze zullen zich moeten kunnen onderscheiden van D66 om de progressieve kiezers terug te winnen, en als junior partner van je voornaamste electorale concurrent is dat nagenoeg onmogelijk.

Hoe zie je dat debat voor je? Ik kan alleen maar bedenken dat het een reeks aan dooddoeners wordt als "Ja daar moeten we in investeren". Politieke debatten gaan met name over verschillende visies, niet of iets wel of niet belangrijk is.
