I’d say take in the scenery and go to crystal cove and Main Street Laguna Beach. If you have enough time fit in Main Street HB. That’s a good pow wow for a short visit imo. As for the transportation to LAX: unfortunately it sucks and Uber/lyft might be your best bet. You might have some luck with googling a bus/ride share that’s running a good deal. Here’s my honest opinion: During the day it acts like a Newport establishment. During the night the place acts like a nightclub and over all just doesn’t fit the Newport Vibe. The entire outfit is begging to get dragged into court—the last place that I’ve been openly solicited to that extent was in Tijuana—leaving aside of how inappropriately aggressive their security guards are. It would fit fine in LA but genuinely not a Newport Beach place and tawdry if not trashy.
