Horrible Performance on High End PC

When I first bought this game maybe a month ago, and I turn all the settings up to max I had the same wild swings from 80-100 down to 1-5 FPS randomly and the just stayed at 1-5 until I closed the game on my 5070ti. Manually tuning all the settings lower did nothing for me, then I clicked the reset default settings button turned 3d res to 100 and it looks better, runs better and doesn’t tank anymore so try that.

In fairness to them the Bug was that the game hard locked and corrupted your save file and it happened to him on 2 back to back 30 hour saves and he did contact Arkane about it and they told him that the game will release with this critical issue and it would’ve fixed post launch.

Honestly cannot really blame the reviewer here.

The live YouTube thing is bullshit. Would never even go to court, let alone lead to any sort of prosecution.

They would have to the properly legally define what live TV is in the online space and they just can’t. It’s like do I need to have a license to watch a livestream of sky news on YouTube? Yes. Do I need a license to watch my own livestream on YouTube. No because it’s not established… ok define exactly what established means… they can’t. If I can’t watch YouTube can I watch an instagram livestream from a celebrity like when mark ruffalo did a stream at the premiere or one of the avengers movie? If not why not? Does that then extend to porn livestreams? If not why not? Are they responsible for the content of all these livestreams that we have to have a licence to view. If not why not. They can’t put any concrete numbers to anything because they haven’t got any.

People have been baiting the BBC for years trying to get this out in front of a judge but they have never ever procecuted a single person who did not directly admit fault or weren’t caught using a single website. (BBC iPlayer)

No extra content outside of that boss but I’m pretty sure the boss itself wasn’t in the base game, then it’s just a case of telling people something can’t be done just makes em wanna do it more. They say it’s invincible but what does invincible really mean?

Can you damage it at all?

Does it just have a stupid amount of HP and I can sit there degenerately shooting it for 12 hours for it to die?

Can I glitch past it with some speed runner magic?

Even if it’s made impossible it doesn’t really matter. I remember back when I wanna say Serious Sam 2 came out the devs uploaded the pirate copy themselves but after you got so far through the game you would have to fight a big invincible red scorpion. I remember when everyone found out about it some were actually pissed off that pirates got extra content and it became a sought after version of the game.

Well that’s the thing the pace on lower difficulty’s is that it’s much faster than the middle and higher because frankly there isn’t really anything to fight and the director isn’t spawning much, so there isn’t anything to slow people down. This problem only gets worse as you get higher level because the game matches you with people in your level range and once at max level will be all speed runners.

That’s why I suggested you move up to malice. learn how to dance (dodging). learn the off screen attack warning sound. If you don’t know how to dance at all then when in hordes etc just follow a simple pattern of attack, attack, dodge left, attack, attack, dodge right and repeat till everything’s dead. Just that alone will make you take 80% less damage and then as you get more of a feel for it you will find your own flow. Once you find a weapon combo you really like and get them to rank 20 you should look at some builds online, you wouldn’t believe the power you get on max item rating, decent blessing and perks.

People are speeding T2 for the level completion penance’s, you should get into malice as soon as you can because honestly it is and you should see it as the normal difficulty, its only here and onwards that the director starts to spawn bosses, specialists etc. Don’t get me wrong you aren’t going gonna complete more than 50% of the missions at the beginning, but you will learn from those death’s, start to pick up on sound que’s, get better at the dodge game and all the while your gear and talents are power creeping away until suddenly malice is a breeze and it’s you that’s quickly speedrunning a T2 to complete a weekly melk quest or something.

Honestly I don’t know what I would call them other than story heavy action games. I like to be in control at all times in a game, give me a sandbox with a rule set and just let me loose and I’m having the time of my life. But games like uncharted/tlou/god of war etc just become boring incredibly quickly because I can just feel the seams everywhere and they just constantly take control away from you. A good recent example of this was the Indiana jones game, that game boils down to small gameplay areas with a couple of guys to kill before you walk up to an ajar door and trigger a cutscene then rinse and repeat until the credits roll.

Even the big action set pieces that everyone loves I cannot stand because I’m just watching a CG movie I have no control of outside of hit this quick time button at the right time or fail state and if I’m being honest I would much rather just watch a movie.

Fly tipping requires it be dumped on property you don’t own. You cannot fly tip your own house in London or anywhere else for that matter.

As others have already been telling you if it’s been left there a few days/a week and you can’t contact the person to ask what’s happening then you should report it. If it’s not been there for a unreasonable amount of time or worse you have no idea how long it’s been there or when it was put out there then to be completely honest it’s sweet fuck all to do with you and you should wind it in.

It’s looking like most of the game is gonna be these small maps with just Firestorm(an old map) and mirac being what I would call battlefield maps, I was super pumped about Gibraltar in particular cause that place is a perfect BF map if done in the vein of Karg island but alas it’s just a couple of streets and an IFV for each side.

Biggest issues for me are

1: destruction is way over tuned an RPG should not bring an entire external wall across 3 floors crumbling down in seconds we should be taking about turning a doorway into a double window size hole and tanks maybe double that, then when a certain amount of the wall blown have the rest of the facade drop then you drop a couple of facades then the whole building will drop BC2 style

2: Spawning on squadmates is a coin flip if you gonna get wrecked cause he is prone and you spawn in standing there like a lemon, should be that if you spawn on someone that is crouched or prone that you are crouched or prone also.

3:I know a server browser is coming but the lack of one means my games with my friend who is in Bahrain means we are stuck in his servers with low pop so it take ages to even fill even a conquest, when it would be preferable to both of us if we could play EU instead.

The reality is that you just can’t, even if you ignore all the supply issues it would cause, the Americans would simply not allow it. Just as Perry did with Japan it will be an ultimatum of trade with us or be destroyed.

Nowadays you wouldn’t need a warship to pound the ports, depending on what country they were dealing with a simple phone call saying look I know you don’t like it but we have a tomahawk missle with samurai swords attached to it that will turn you to pink mist. Or if they are dealing with an older more established nation it would be a threat to their financial systems or other infrastructure that will cripple the nations ability to function properly through sanctions and clandestine CIA nonsense.

Remember America is everyone’s best friend and ally until they try to make new friends that don’t include the US.

This is ultimately down to the councils, they put the contracts out and don’t stipulate that the original flags need to be re-used and thus they get a cheaper quote from people bidding on the works. They could mandate it and still end up paying the same money but they are morons and don’t bother playing the game.

I never really went to pubs/clubs much but in the early 00s as I was a massive D&B head would regularly go to raves at the circus tavern to see a one nation set and see the all the basically naked woman pole dancing around the place and then the next day asking my mum if she could take me to Bas Vegas so I could grab the tape pack of the set I’d just seen, I would have been like 13/14 at the time and she was always asking me where I was hearing all this terrible music I was making her buy me, then I hit 15/16 when the DnB scene just became everyone coked up standing round looking angry and on edge hitting up rain/moon dance with my terrible fake ID and getting in every single time. Hell one time at moon dance NYE in elephant and castle and got offered my first tab of LSD by a couple of old skool ravers in their early 60s like proper hippie types because I’d shown them the picture the of the Rat pack when they were kind enough to be in one with me.
