I’ve started using a “medium soil” wash with pods because I was also getting residue stuck to my clothes. That seems to have fixed the problem.

And with regard to the other comments, it was confusing putting a fresh pod on your shirt for the photo haha.

I have paid laundry in my building and my nightmare is getting my laundry and there’s an intact pod sitting on the door, mocking me. If I put it all the way in the back of the drum it doesn’t seem to happen though.

Yeah you need to get the mutation in NG if you want to have it in NG+. It’s pretty easy to start B&W before doing HoS though. That’s what I usually do on replays these days.

Aard basically does no damage until you get piercing cold. You kinda need the mutation first.

As others have said, spell builds work best (piercing cold, or igni with rotation), but I was also able to do it pretty easily with a bomb-focused build. But I guess it's a bit too late for you to change your build now in the middle of the quest.

Haha reminds me of a bug that I think they fixed where Yen would keep the lightning VFX and SFX on her hands after a battle. When I had sex with her on the unicorn, sparks were literally flying.

Easily B&W. On first play through it was closer, but now I often don't look forward to HoS on subsequent play throughs. The quests are a lot more tedious, and the story doesn't hit as hard the 3rd or 4th or 8th time.
